Each week The school has awards for "Boy/girl citizen" of the week and also a Mystery Student. Last Friday Trei received the Mystery student award, he was so excited and both Duane and I were there to see him get his certificate. Here is the Pic we snapped with him and his Principal!

So I spent the morning in the VFA-154 hangar serving chili for the Kids Christmas Party fundraiser, it was perfect cause it was a cold morning so alot of folks came down for some chili...but It was cold in there as usual so I have been chilled all day, to think Hanford in the Summer gets up to 115F and then in the winter it gets as low as 30F....Extreme weather I tell you and after 3 years I am still not used to either!

The kids ended up in the Hanford Sentinel this past week advertising their Holiday Dinner Fundraiser for their school!!! The event went real well, the kids wore their PJ's and performed Christmas songs after a nice dinner! I opted to film as opposed to taking Pictures this time around! Here is their pic tho from the Paper.

Trei and his soccer team had a pizza party in the town plaza to mark the end of their soccer season. The coach rented out the carousel and we had pizza, cupcakes and they handed out their trophies, it was a good time, but Trei is disapointed the soccer season is over! T-ball is next, yay!!!

Today was Trei's last soccer game of the season and boy did he ever kick some boooottty!!!Not only did they win a "undefeated team" but Trei kicked the ball from one end of the field more then half way down the other a few times and it was an "air ball". At the end both coaches and a few of the parents told me what a great player he is and deserved a Treat for that game! He was so pumped up, he was telling all the kids "I can kick higher and farther then you", it was great!!!! I am so proud of him! Trei's Team, "The Diamondbacks".

Friday is supposed to be a good day, after all its the last day of the work week and you can almost tolerate anything on that day knowing that by 5p.m. voila you are done..oh wait not if you are a mom heh! Not that being a Mom isn't a good thing its just 24/7, 7-days a week, but at least usually the weekends are more chill cause you don't have to feel rushed bright and early to get the kids ready in time for school and then to their after school activities....
well my Friday was too eventful, started out thinking I was gonna help with "holiday gift baskets" for the schools biggest fundraiser of the year..The organizer told me Friday was the day and any and all help was Mucho appreciated so I showed up. Turns out when the organizer and I got there, someone else had thot they were in charge and so I stood by while they two discussed that one and well all that to say we almost went home...heh!
After the Principal came in to set them both straight we got to work on the baskets and we got alot done...meanwhile on my lunch break I get a call from the school that Trei knocked his tooth loose so I rush down to find out its 2 one top one bottom, his gums were swollen and they didn't stop bleeding, of course any and all sickness or injuries happen when the doctors offices are closing and all that leaves you is the ER or the dentist voicemail...which is what I got and after two hours he called me back and we went in for Xrays! Since Trei is almost 6 they didn't really need to pull them but since some of the nerves were exposed they thot he may be more comfortable eating and drinking if they were pulled. When Trei heard this He looked straight at the dentist and said "you can't do anything today, I have my last Soccer game tomorrow". So he told us to see how it goes over the weekend...thankfully he is okay and its not causing him any discomfort! But yea that wasn't the end of our Friday, Desiree woke up with Croupe at 2a.m. so to the ER we went for breathing treatments and then back home to catch some zzzz's before Trei's soccer game!!! TGIF was the furthest thing from my mind last nite.

Today was a sad day for me, My best Friend over the past 3 years Julie has taken off to Colorado. They got their orders and will be there for the next few years! I am gonna miss you Julie, we had some good times and some tough times thru all the long work-ups, the deployment and the constant uncertainty & everything else that only you could know. Thanks for being there for me girl! Wishing you and your family the best and I hope to come visit you soon!!!!Trei & Nicholas

Just got back from San Fran, went up after Trei's soccer game Saturday morning to see Nana and my Folks, it was a nice time and beautiful weather...Nice to get out of the Valley and breathe some clean air, even if it was only for 24 hours...

Today they had 1st Quarter awards and both Trei and Desiree got called up to the stage to receive their "Award". Desiree was so excited she said from the stage "Mommy I get to be up on the big stage". I am so proud of them!!!
