Today started off with a bang, I went into the classroom today fully assuming we were going to be given our mid-term guide for our upcoming test next week when our instructor surprised us all by informing us we were to give impromptu speaches today! We were assigned a topic once our name was called and given 1 minute to come up with a 2 minute speech.
My topic was "Do athletes get paid too much for just talent?" that was an easy enough topic and was told I did well, of course after you get back to you seat you think of better ways to have discussed the topic. But a one-minute preparation time is pretty limiting! Glad that one is done, next week is our mid-term and preparation for a Persuassive speech!
