Trei refused to eat icecream when he was little and so one day (cause I KNEW HE WOULD LOVE IT), I put some up to his mouth and he did his usual turning of the head and the tightly closed lips so I smothered ice cream on his lips and of course he licked it and voila, he has been eating it ever since. Not that Pancakes and icecream are an important part to a diet but I remembered that story when you posted that.
At 11:25 PM, Amy said...: Ha, yeah, I've tried similar tactics like that with Conner as he's not into trying new things either (though somehow he trusted us with ice-cream, heh). But yep, well I tried once with syrup and with whipped cream/strawberries, they ate the stuff off the top and left the pancake, ha. Oh well, yeah at least it's not an important part of diet, it's just fun. Sigh.
