Update on Trei

We took Trei in today for a check up, after the Xrays the Doc stood in front of them looking at them for awhile and then told us Trei's leg is Healing amazingly well and quickly and was gonna take his cast off today. He almost did since the Xrays looked like it was 100% better, but usually to make sure they take it off and feel the bone as well to make sure its not soft before sending the kid home, especially since its his femur, but since its been such an ordeal and traumatic for Trei to get casted (they had to "Put him out"), he told us it would be better to wait 1 more week before taking it off that way he would know for sure it was better and wouldn't have the chance of taking it off and it not being well and having to recast him. Sooo close but not there, at least not for another week! But at least we know it will be off this coming Friday!!! We can't wait! Today was 4 1/2 weeks since the accident which is amazing that its healing so fast, usually it takes 6-8 weeks, must be everyones prayers!!! Thanks!!! We did learn that once they remove the cast he will have to take it real easy for 6 weeks, no jungle gyms, bikes just walking and "Low key" playing so to speak...he will be weak from not using his leg and since its his Femur he will probably be real sore and have to still ride in his wagon or stroller and walking will be the most exercise he needs...but at least the cast will be off and we will be on the road to recovery!!!!
