Back online and back to blogging!

Well I am back, its been a few weeks and a few of you have asked when I would update the blog so here goes...Duane came back late July after spending 7 months in the Gulf, we are sooo happy he made it home safely and as you may have guessed thats why I have been away from the computer and spending time with him and Trei as a family getting to know each other again...
Lets see where do I start sooo much has happend in the last 3 weeks since he has been home. Well we flew into San Diego the same Day Duane got in so we were there to meet him at the airport, he arrived at 8p.m. and I was nervous and excited to see him...I was trying to prepare Trei all day that we were gonna "See Daddy" but I don't think he fathomed it after having Daddy be gone for sooo long....When we saw him it was like a dream come true, the long awaited day FINALLY ARRIVED, Trei was a little surprised to see Daddy face to face and not in a photo above his bed or talking to him on the phone...he was a little shy but definently knew it was Daddy, he went to him and gave him a hug then wanted Mommy again...it took him a little bit to warm up to him but he did very well, the only thing is that every time Duane goes out the door or goes into the next room he starts to cry thinking Daddy is leaving again, so we try to say "See ya later" as opposed to "Bye Bye"...Hopefully in time he will understand that Daddy goes to work and comes home at nite.....From San Diego we took off to Palm Springs for a 2 week vacation to relax, enjoy each others company and have fun..It was a good trip we spent alot of time in the pool and relaxing, Barbecuing and so on. Its Great to have him back!!!!
We are now in Pensacola as Duane is attending Aviation Safety Officer school for a month, so Trei and I went along with him and will be headed home to San Diego Spetember 9th!!!! We are staying on base and its pretty messed up from the recent hurricane, alot of things are closed and the houses, the city and beaches are the same....Alot of damage, poor people!
Its also very hot and humid here to say the least...so we are hopefully gonna be spending alot of time at the beach to keep cool!
So thats a brief recap of the last 3 weeks, Thanks everyone for your Prayers for Duane during his deployment, I am sure that is what brought him safely home to us!
I will be posting some pictures of our stay in Palm Springs and a few of our travels.....so stay tuned...
