Brainstorming

Went to my Public Speaking class this morning, our next speech is supposed to be a 4-6 minute Demonstrative Speech. So I am brainstorming Ideas of what to do, a few I have come up with so far are:
1.How to make Chocolate Chip Cookies
2.How to exercise (demonstrate a specific exercise or routine)
3.How to brew a perfect cup of coffee (since I use a drip coffee machine that may be comical to those who are experts.)

Any Input???

How to make salsa. For three reasons, you make good salsa, homemade tastes unbelievably better than the stuff one buys at the store, and you can fit it in 4-6 minute time limit.

Ok thought of more reasons, you won't have to haul as much stuff as you would for cookies and passing samples of your salsa with chips can give you good rep points with your teacher and classmates. You can take a short cute and used canned tomatoes or pre-cook your jalapenos. Plus you will be very confident in your abilities because you make it all the time and it will come through in your speaking.

Your balloon animals would be a great idea too!

Good Idea ladies, gonna have to think how to stretch it out to 4-6 minutes as when I made it tonite I timed it like he said and it only took 2 ha ha!!! And that was with the pre-cooked stuff which I'd take anyways cause there is no where or time to cook...guess I could peel the garlic there..ha ha!

I'd say: go with cooking (cookies, enchiladas or salsa!!) or fitness!
You know these well (very well) and could easily do a demo.
Have fun! You'll ace it (by the way).

I don't know if you gave your speech yet but you could beef up your intro and your conclusion and make two kinds of salsa, one with jalepenos and the other with the scotch bonnets. Or make pico de gallo which I am sure I spelled wrong.

Doesn't matter what you do, you'll get an A because the cheerleader is going to get up and say "my body is my demonstrative speech". ;)
