Trei's 1st Birthday!!!

Today we celebrated Trei's 1st Birthday, we can't believe its been a year already, time sure flies. We invited Trei's cousins Casey, Charlie and Derek and his friend Ashlee over for his party which was real nice. Since he loves "Blues Clues" we decided to have that as the theme for the party, Daddy went out and got some Helium Balloons which Trei loved and is still playing with...I made him a Birthday cake and I thot he would attack the cake and make a big mess eating it, resulting in a "Kodak Moment," but no, he wasn't interested in the cake at all, he was checking out all the kids and wasn't to sure about it all.We did however discover that he loves Jello and Ice Cream.Yummy!!!

We then proceded to open presents: (and a Tip for anyone with a little one, have all the toys assembled with batteries in them so that they can play with them right away.) He wasn't too sure about opening the wrapping paper so Mommy and Daddy did that for him, but he sure loved what was inside.Thanks soooo much everyone for sending Trei Birthday Cards, toys, and books, it was very thoughtful of each of you and made his birthday all the more special!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures we took at the party so you too can share this special event with us.

Merry Christmas Everyone

We just wanted to wish all our dear family and friends a very Merry Christmas!!! We had a wonderful Christmas, it was Trei's 1st Christmas which made it all the more special. We woke up and read Trei the First Christmas from his Baby Bible then let him rush to the Christmas tree and open his presents, he didn't quite get how to open them at first but got the hang of it by the last one...Thanks to all of you who sent him a Christmas gift, it was most thoughtful of you and we appreciate it very much. We spent the day together playing with toys, going to the park, and spending time together as a family. My sister Amy came over in the afternoon and we cooked Christmas dinner together, it was alot of fun and I am so happy she was able to share Christmas with us. Tonite we plan to watch "White Christmas" together and eat some apple Pie that my Grandma sent and some desserts that I made. Its been a fun-filled day! We hope you are able to take part of our Christmas by looking at the pictures we took today! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and pray that you have a wonderful New Years!!!
