Trei's 2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday Trei!!! I can't believe my Baby Boy is 2 years old! He is growing up sooo fast...We are planning to have his birthday party the 1st weekend of January so that all his friends can make it to his party but we still did celebrate his birthday today on a smaller scale...My good friend Ang came over with a Birthday gift for Trei, a set of 8 Cardboard "learning Books". Thanks Ang! We tried to give him a piece of Apple Pie with 2 candles on it but he didn't want any..he isnt' much of a pie/cake boy so I am planning Jello and Sherbet for his Party coming up. Should be a fun time, so stay tuned there will be a TON of Pics next week! Posted by Picasa

Christmas Photos..(Presents)

We got Trei a Train set for Christmas cause he has always loved playing with trains and train tracks...we noticed it for the first time when we took him to Toys R Us and they have a display model of Trains on Train Tables that the kiddos can play with..He would play there for an hour so we decided that was the gift to get him...Christmas Eve Duane put it together so he could play with it right away when he woke up. Christmas Morning He came down the stairs and said "Wow" and took off to go play with it. He was sooo excited and happy about it and can spend hours playing with it, rearranging the tracks and trains/cars...It was so nice to see his reaction to Christmas this year as last year he was barely a year, this year he just loved the Christmas Tree and lights and decorations! Christmas Eve

This Evening to celebrate Christmas Eve we read the "First Christmas" to Trei from his "Toddler Bible" then watched a Kids video with him about the "First Christmas" which happens to be one of his Favorites, it tells the story about how Jesus was born and has some Christmas Songs along with it which he loves. We then took a drive across town to a neighborhood that decorates each house for Christmas, they close off the streets but you are able to walk thru which we did...Duane and I fixed some Hot Cocoa and took Trei with us which we all enjoyed alot. The houses were all decorated beautifully, a few houses had nice manger scenes which we took some photos next too! Trei had fun walking around and almost knocked over one of the Christmas Trees that was on display on someones front lawn. It was a nice evening and now that Trei is down for the nite Duane and I are gonna put together a Train set/table we got Trei for Christmas that way when he comes downstairs in the morning he can play with it and won't have to wait for us to put it together. Hope you enjoy the pictures we took!

Bounce House

We just recently bought a "Bounce House" for Trei, we have been wanting to get one for some time now but they are usually $200...Then in Sundays Paper we saw one for $79 so we went out to get it, turns out it was a 24 hour sale so the store near our house was sold out...We were determined though and called a few other stores and Duane got the job of driving 30 minutes late that nite to pick it up. I must say its the best $80 we have ever spent--at least I think so--.Trei can play in it rain or shine or when I am too tired to take him out to the park. Anyway he was about as excited as I was to get it, here are some pictures of him helping Daddy set it up!

Christmas Party

Today was a fun-filled day of Christmas Parties in the morning we went to a "Squadron Party" for the kiddos and in the evening we went to my Sister Amy's Christmas Party. They had the house decorated beautifully and wonderful food and drink for everyone...There were other kiddos there so Trei had fun dancing to "Christmas Music" with them. My Brothers 3 kids performed along with a few other kids some christmas songs which was Trei's favorite part of the nite, he clapped during and after each song and cried when they stopped. It was a good time, we got to see my sister and brothers family and lots of other friends. Here are a few photos from the nite.

Squadron Christmas Party

Yesterday we went to the yearly Kids Squadron Christmas Party thats held in the S-3 "Hangar". Its a fun day with Jump houses for the kids, clowns, games and a visit from Santa in a S-3 Jet...They put down a big sheet of "Bubble Wrap" taped to the floor and all the kids love running on it cause it makes soo much noise. They also have lots of yummy food and snacks and all in all its a good time and fun for the kids to all to get together and play and for the parents to relax and chat...
Santa was late again this year, not sure why but the kids were VERY EAGER for him to arrive after waiting an hour and a half, they tell the KIds that its too warm in San diego for Santas reindeers so they Flew him in from the North Pole in an S-3..ha ha! So they taxi him in and all the kiddos wait as he gets out of the jet and greets them and then hands out Christmas Presents to all the kids. I thot it was a rather cool idea bringing Santa in on a Jet...I took a few pictures that I Thot everyone would enjoy seeing...Trei was sooo tired at the end of it all that after he got his gift he was soooo ready for a nap and crashed on the way home in the car. A fun filled Tiring morning...
