Desiree's recital

Desiree performed her first recital Saturday. I was so proud of her, she got up on a big stage in a auditorium full of people and performed two songs alongside her fellow dancers. When she was done we took the kids to Olive Garden to celebrate and to also celebrate Fathers Day since Duane will be going on deployment real soon. We presented her with a music box and a small trophy. She just LOVES the music box and plays it over and over again.

Went to see Iron Man 2 last nite with Duane, it was real good especially for a sequel. I surprised myself when the first one came out, I really didn't think that I would like it. But its witty, funny, and entertaining. If you wanna check a movie out this weekend, its a good one!

With Duane flying late all week we have had the blessing of having him home in the mornings for a bit later then usual. Today we went to Panera for Breakfast, the kids were so excited to eat out for breakfast. They had a hard time choosing what they wanted, Trei settled for a Huge cinnamon roll and Desiree got a chocolate Chip Bagel with cream cheese. Its a fun place to go for breakfast.

Desiree and her class have been practicing a little dance for a few months now to be performed on stage next Saturday! Today was her practice rehersal, they did so well considering it was on a big stage with lights, people and all...I was filming so Trei took pictures.

I bought some new tennis, I figured I would try something new so I bought the new "Zig-tech" tennis from Reebok. I ran last nite and they are lightweight,flexible and had lots of cushion. If you are looking for new shoes, give these a try.
