Took the kids to McDonalds this weekend as a treat for Trei's 1st week in school! They were so excited to go (even tho' Trei's face doesn't look excited in the pic) as they had "lego racers" in the Happy Meals & its been ages since we have gone.I snapped a few pics with my phone.

1st day of Kindergarten

Here are the pictures I took of Trei headed to Kindergarten last Wednesday, its been an adjustment on all of us, but I think he is starting to like it...I know it takes time...Our home seems so quiet and I Miss him in the mornings but I am so proud of him and all he is doing!!!

So while cleaning a cluttered counter-top in my house I found my camera cord...guess Duane and I were wrong about the cords we had, regardless I am happy to have found it so I can post all the pics I took the past two weeks!YAY!

Today was Trei's 1st day of Kindergarten, we got his backpack, and lunch box ready last nite, he enjoyed picking out what he wanted to eat for lunch/snack. It was tough on me to drop him off, but aside from the fact he was tired he seemed happy! Its just going to be a real adjustment for all of us with him at school from 8:30 till 2p.m. Desiree kept asking where he was. He is such a joy and I am so proud of him! I snapped a few pics but once again will have to wait to post them till I get my camera cord back..not a good week to not have it argh!

So its been a busy few weeks, we got back from Palm springs and my sister Claire and family came to visit, the cousins had a fun time swimming, going bowling and playing legos..I took a bunch of pics but Duane took my camera cord by mistake and I guess I have his so I am unable to upload them till he can mail it to me, argh!!! Yes he is gone again, this time he is at a school in San Diego for a month but we were able to go down and see him this past weekend and take the kids to Legoland one last time before school starts for Trei this Wednesday so that was a nice treat! I got to meet my new nephew Connor, he is so cute and makes my kids look so grown up...weep! I took a few pics there as well and will post all of these once I get my camera cord, so stay tuned!!!!

Trei started Soccer today, whooo hoooo!!!! He practices Tuesdays and Thursdays and the games will begin in September, he looks so cute with all his gear on, hope to post the pics when I get a free moment to myself!

So we got back from a nice relaxing trip to Palm Springs thanks to My sis who watched our two kiddos the entire time, she kept them busy and happy. Thanks Mich...we spent the days sleeping in, shopping at outlets, going to the theater and relaxing...its been awhile it was nice! Nice to be back and see the kiddos I haven't ever been away from them from that long. Gonna enjoy our last weekend with Duane before he heads to school down in SD for a month.

Duane & I are headed to Palm Springs today, thanks to my sister Mich who came up to watch our kiddos for a few days!!! Thanks Mich! Should be a relaxing time, not sure if I will take photos or just relax and take it all in...
