Guess who carries a "geriatric" line of clothing now??? Victoria Secret..., well not really but when I ordered these sweats online they looked real cute and comfortable not to mention they were on sale they didn't however have a front and back view of them so when I got them in the mail and tried them on I noticed they have two seams in the shape of a "Depend" and when you put them on it looks as though you are wearing one. HIGHLY UNFLATTERING!!!!!!!! I had to have my sis Mich take a picture of them cause they were absolutely GROSS! heh!

Preschool Graduation

Trei graduated from Preschool on May 22nd and we were able to attend his little graduation which included songs & a diploma followed by a cookie reception (a bribe I am sure if they performed well). The kids were all so cute! I took too many pictures but hope everyone enjoys them!

Running back with his diploma.

We celebrated our 5th anniversary tonite since Duane will be gone on the "actual" day. My sister Michelle watched the kiddos and we went to "Tokyo Garden" & had sushi, it was soooo good, I think it tasted even better to me since I just came off detox. heh! We came home & Michelle had a plate of cake and cookies as a joke for me. Anyone who knows me knows I am not a "cake/cookie" person, but you stick a bucket of ice cream in front of me and its on...I will eat a ton!!! So yea we had a laugh & drank some champagne & sat around the table and talked. It was a fun nite! Thanks Mich for taking care of our 2 kiddos so we could go out.

Today is my last day of detox, this is the 5th detox I have done in my life and I know they are supposed to be really good to cleanse the body, but I have to say all the claims that they make you feel energized & rejuvenated while doing them I have to say are not true for me, maybe its just me but I feel sluggish, tired, cranky and mostly hungry and dying to bite into something. I know too that having a headache the 1st day usually indicates you have alot of toxins to get rid of and if I only felt crappy one day out of the 5 well then that would be okay, but I have to say I am a much happier person when I get my food!!! I would not do good starving on an island eating only vegetables, fruit, and grass...heh! My rejuvenation comes from snuggling up with a nice cup of Java and some eggs and toast in the morning.....mmmmmm 12 hours to go!

Day 5 of the detox and I am soooooo Hungry, & grumpy, I don't do well with no eating!!! 1 day to go till I can bite into something and eat again, I can't wait....

Since its been so hot here we took the kids to Hanford's newest park that features a "wet play area". The kids were looking forward to going all morning and had a fun time for the first 20 minutes then Trei tried to crawl up the "pink walrus" and lost his grip and banged his chin on it & we had to rush him to the ER to get 5 stitches...Poor thing, he has been through sooo much and he is only 4! Thankfully he is back home and hopefully the stitches will heal up well, we take him back to the pediatrician in 4 days to have the stitches removed...Here are the a few pictures of the fun they had prior to the accident!

The Infamous Walrus...grrrrrr.......

Day at the Beach

We woke up this morning with the bright idea of taking the kids to the Beach up near Paso Robles, so we all piled in the car and made the 2 hour drive. It was 110 all the way there so we were looking forward to cooler weather at the beach, thankfully it was upper 80's and the kids had fun getting buckets of water to make sandcastles and chasing the seaguls. It was a beautiful, fun day!

My Mothers Day

This morning I woke up to this..Breakfast in bed, a delicious pancake & a mimosa... The kids and Duane then brought me their gifts, a digital Photo frame (I love it!), "Brad Paisley's" New CD, Flowers & Dark Chocolate...& the cutest thing was the "Voice recorded" cards, they each recorded a message for me. Trei's said "Happy Mothers day Mommy", and well Desiree was babbling, too cute! Later in the evening we went to "Soup Plantation" for dinner, where we all ate entirely too much, but then again its only Mother's day once a year right???Thanks Honey and kiddos, it was a great day!

Dinner at Soup Plantation...

Happy Mother's Day!

1st of all I wanted to say Thank you Mom for being a wonderful Mom, I know its not easy cause I have been one for only 4 1/2 years and am only beginning to realize what being a Mother really entails. It isn't an easy job, and I admire you for raising all 6 of us when I sometimes feel incapable of raising my 2 little ones! I appreciate you & all the sacrifices you made for us kids! I hope you have a wonderful day, that you get to kick back for once in your life and enjoy a relaxing day! You Deserve it!

I also wanted to say Happy Mother's day to my Mother-in-law Mille, Thank you for welcoming me into your family 5 years ago and for being a wonderful Mother to Duane, I know if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have Duane or my 2 beautiful kiddos in my life, so thank you!

And to all my fellow "Mommie's" out there HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, just remember no matter how difficult Motherhood gets, its worth it in the end!!!
Enjoy!!!

Somebody said it takes about six weeks to get back to normal after you've had a baby..........Somebody doesn't know that once you're a mother, "Normal," is history.

Somebody said you learn how to be a mother by instinct...Somebody never took a three-year-old shopping.

Somebody said being a mother is boring......Somebody never rode in a car driven by a teenager with a driver's permit.

Somebody said if you're a "good" mother, your child will "turn out good."Somebody thinks a child comes with directions and a guarantee.

Somebody said "good" mothers never raise their voices.....Somebody never came out the back door just in time to see her child hit a golf ball through the neighbor's kitchen window.

Somebody said you don't need an education to be a mother.Somebody never helped a fourth grader with her math.

Somebody said you can't love the fifth child as much as you love the first.Somebody doesn't have five children.

Somebody said a mother can find all the answers to her child-rearing questions in the books.......Somebody never had a child stuff beans up his nose or in his ears.

Somebody said the hardest part of being a mother is labor and delivery.....Somebody never watched her "baby" get on the bus for the first day of kindergarten…or on a plane headed for military "boot camp."

Somebody said a mother can do her job with her eyes closed and one hand tied behind her back....Somebody never organized four giggling Brownies to sell cookies.

Somebody said a mother can stop worrying after her child gets married....Somebody doesn't know that marriage adds a new son or daughter-in-law to a mother's heartstrings.

Somebody said a mother's job is done when her last child leaves home....Somebody never had grandchildren.

Somebody said your mother knows you love her, so you don't need to tell her.......Somebody isn't a mother.
***What makes a good mother anyway? Is it patience? Compassion? The ability to nurse a baby, cook dinner, and sew a button on a shirt, all at the same time?Or is it heart?
Is it the ache you feel when you see your child disappear down the street, walking to school alone for the very first time? The jolt that takes you from sleep to dread, from bed to crib at 2 a.m., to put your hand on the back of a sleeping baby? The need to flee from wherever you are and hug your child when you hear news of a school shooting, a fire, a car accident, a baby dying?

So this is for all the mothers who sat down with their children and explained all about making babies--and for all the mothers who wanted to, but just couldn't.
This is for reading "Goodnight, Moon" twice a night for a year. And then reading it again, "Just one more time."
This is for all the mothers who mess up. Who yell at their kids in the grocery store and swat them in despair and stomp their feet like a tired two-year old who wants ice cream before dinner.
This is for all the mothers who taught their daughters to tie their shoelaces before they started school. And for all the mothers who opted for Velcro instead.
For all the mothers who bite their lips sometimes until they bleed--when their 14-year-olds dye their hair green. Who lock themselves in the bathroom when babies keep crying and won't stop.
This is for all the mothers who show up at work with spit-up in their hair and milk stains on their blouses and diapers in their purse.
This is for all the mothers who teach their sons to cook and their daughters to sink a jump shot.
This is for all mothers whose heads turn automatically when a little voice calls "Mom?" in a crowd, even though they know their own offspring are at home.
This is for mothers who put pinwheels and teddy bears on their children's graves.
This is for mothers whose children have gone astray, who can't find the words to reach them.
This is for all the mothers who gave life to their babies, only to give up their babies in the hopes of a better life.
This is for all the mothers who couldn't bare children of their own and who love the children given to them as if they were their own.
This is for all the mothers who sent their sons to school with stomachaches, assuring them they'd be just FINE once they got there, only to get calls from the school nurse an hour later asking them to please pick them up--right away.
This is for young mothers stumbling through diaper changes and sleep deprivation. And mature mothers learning to let go. For working mothers and stay-at-home mothers. Single mothers and married mothers. Birth mothers and adoptive mothers. Mothers with money. Mothers without. This is for you all..... Hang in there!"Home is what catches you when you fall--and we all fall."--

Trei's Mothers day gift for me that he made at school.

Took the kids to swim school today and Trei knocked his front tooth loose on one of the steps...grrrrrr...had to take him into the dentist today for xrays and thankfully the adult teeth behind it are okay, but the Doc said one more bump and he will knock it out all the way. He can't use his front teeth to eat anymore as they need to tighten up the dentist said, so that will be a challenge with a 4-year old. heh!

So The kitty LOVES Trei and follows him around everywhere...she is very playful and as you can see here is observing his school time. Cat nap

My sister Michelle arrived this evening & will be staying with us to help me with the kiddos so I can recover from my surgery! My 2 kiddos are ACTIVE little kritters, so she has her work cut out for her..heh! Thanks Mich, don't know what I would have done....

Got my hair colored while down in San Diego, 1 of the many highlights of our trip there. It had been 4 long months since I had been to my stylist there so my hair NEEDED it to say the least..always gives you a confidence boost when your hair looks good and isn't sporting split ends and 3 inch long roots...heh! I am sure some of you girls feel me on this one. You can kinda see my hair in this pic, I asked him though to chop it a bit (4 inches) cause it needed it! So now its to my shoulders! Here is me and my lovely sis Feli who is home visiting from Albania to have her baby this month, her due date is my birthday!!! While that makes me happy and it would be great for her to have her little girl on my special day, for her sake I hope she is a few weeks early, cause I know the last few weeks can draggggg on...

Turbo-Jam Anyone???

I am always looking for new ways to exercise and keep my body in shape and working different muscles by doing different exercises, when I saw this on TV it reminded me a bit of Tae-bo which I find Kicks my butt and has amazing results in calories burned and toning of the mid-section and thighs and hips something us women NEED!!!! But I wanted to know if anyone has tried this or know if it works well?http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/turbo_jam_maximum_results.do
