Well this last week Trei has been counting to 3, we are so impressed, I always count with him whenever we climb the stairs or play with his toys or are at the park, and I always wondered if it was "Sinking in" to the little brain of his, and what do you know, it did!!!! Now he says it all the time. He also replies "Two" and holds up 2 fingers when we ask him how old he is. Of course "Technically" he won't be two till the day after Christmas but I figured by the time he starts saying it he will be 2...He of course also says a bunch of other words here and there but thats what he has learned most recently!

ThanksGiving

Happy Thanksgiving day to everyone! We really do all have ALOT To be thankful for!!! Today we had a great day, Got up early and started preping some of the food, Duane did most of the cooking, he got a rotisserie oven for the Turkey and seasoned it and it turned out awesome!!! I helped here and there with the Mashed Potatoes, Cornbread muffins and salad but he did the rest, gravy, stuffing, Turkey, Ham, Green Bean casserole, he really outdid himself..and man was it ever good!!!! My brother Mike and his wife Nina and their kiddos came over and our friend Kevin...we watched the Cowboys Game and then had dinner followed by desserts which Kevin made all by hand!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE and Delicious!!!Trei was soo happy to have his cousins over and was fascinated by them, he would just sit and watch them and jump around all excited! Well enough blogging about it, here are some of the photos...

ITS A GIRL!!!

Well, today we went for our 1st Ultrasound to make sure the baby is in good health and to find out what we are having, thankfully the baby is in good health, has all 5 fingers and toes and best of all we are having a GIRL!!! I am soooo happy!!! I was hoping for a girl since I have a little boy, so now I am thinking PINK.... We are both soooo excited! The technician also said that the baby did a "salute" while she was checking, ha ha, I told her well thats all on Duane, she is a Daddy's girl already!

Duane Reading Books to Trei...

Last few days....

Its been a busy week for us, I have been wanting to post some pictures I Took recently of Duane and Trei but haven't gotten around to it, I apologize to all those of you who have been asking for pictures, I will post them real soon! Trei and I woke up with Sorethroats and Colds two days ago which means sleepless nites for all of us as he isn't sleeping well at all, then he decided after a wakeful nite last nite to get up at 4a.m. so we have been up ever since, I took him to the park in hopes to wear him out so we can crash here soon, I am looking at the clock every 10 minutes but nope he ain't tired yet....I am exhasuted can you tell??? We have also been getting ready for Thanksgiving next week, My Brother Mike and his family are coming over for Turkey day and our friend Kevin, should be a fun time....But as you know the grocery stores are PACKED this time of year, the week before Thanksgiving...I went to the Commisary yesteday to get a Turkey and everyone and their brother was hovered around the "Frozen Food" section trying to get their "Perfect Turkey", thankfullyI managed to get one too..I wasn't sure if there would be any left, but there was!!! Thank you God!!! Next week (Wednesday to be exact) we find out if we are having a Boy or a Girl, I can't wait!!!! No worries I will post it on the Blog as soon as we know!

Unusual Traffic

So today I was bound for a normal grocery day at the Commisary on base or so I thot, I left the house at 8:30a.m. as usually traffic has subsided, anyhow when I got to the 805N it was completly stopped, I figured there must have been a bad accident or something so I proceeded to move in and out of traffic going 5 miles an hour for 30 minutes to get to the exit that was 2 miles from our house...Finally I see 4-5 Border Patrol Cars and Highway Patrols officers pulled over on the side of the freeway with a Semi Truck as I got closer I noticed the back of the Semi was open and to my surprise (I am sure their's too), it was packed with Mexicans. The Officers had surrounded the truck and were talking to the driver..from what I gathered from all of that, it was a Truck of Illegal Immigrants that got into the States a few minutes earlier and someone tipped the Highway Patrol off and they got pulled over..I assume they all went back from whenst they came, but I have to say it wasn't a normal site, I have seen that in the movies but it was funny to see it in person! All that to say it explains why the traffic was stopped as usual everyone has to stop and see whats going on...

Congratulations to my sister Feli and Marco on the birth of their son, Deon (Pronounced Deion) born at 5:58p.m., weighing 8lbs, 2oz's and 21 inches long!!! One more cousin for Trei!!!

Saturday nite Duane and I attended the Yearly "Navy Ball", thanks to My sister Amy who baby sat Trei for us all evening...(Thank you Amy)It turned out to be a long evening but it was nice to see everyone and have a nite out...Here are a few pictures from the evening.

"Trick or Treating"

Its taken me a few days to upload these "Halloween" pictures, but here they are. We had a real fun time, the local shopping center near our house sponsered a "Safe Trick or Treating Party" 2 days before Halloween. It was mid day which was nice and apparently EVERYONE and their brother got the Memo about it so it was packed...We met up with some good friends of ours who have a daughter Trei's age so we went around to all the stores together which was alot of fun! Trei was dressed up as "Bob the Builder" and his friend Ashlee was "Cinderella"..Trei was in awe that every time he held out his bucket people were putting candy it and toys...After that we went to the "Pumpkin Patch" and the kids played around on the Slide, Train and jump house...all in all it was a fun day! On "Halloween Nite" we stayed inside and passed out candy, I don't know it it was due to Daylight savings but we had Trick or Treaters at our house from 5p.m. till about 10p.m. some kids coming back twice..Trei loved it though, he would hear the doorbell ring and he would scream excitedly and run to the door! It was alot of fun, hope you enjoy the Pics...
