Go Cowboys!!!

Trei got a birthday present today from his cousin Noah and Uncle Anaclet and Auntie Tendai. The doorbell rang and the Fed-ex man handed us the package to which Trei replied, "Thats for me Mommy"..I of course was hesitant since I wasn't sure what it was but sure enough it was for him. He had a great time opening it and was sooo excited to have a Helmet and Football gear...Go Cowboys!!! You Uncle Mike will be happy to see you are starting young...ha ha!
Thanks Tendai & Anaclet!!!

A good friend of mine brought over one of her Pug puppies for Trei to play with, he absolutely adored the puppy and brought out all his toys and cars to show her, the same thing he did when Desiree was born. The puppy was soooo small she could fit in a stocking cap. I took a few pics of Trei with her.

Trei's art

Trei drew this today on his etch-a-sketch its a pig, pretty good no?

Here is to me getting over a 10-day Deathly flu, and a looooonnnng day!!! Cheers!

Muddy days!

So after a week of solid rain here in Hanford, we got our 1st day of sun and 65 degrees so I unleashed the kids in the backyard even though I knew they would get covered in mud. They had a great time, Desiree especially, she found a big mud pile and sat in it and played with a piece of wood that she called a boat...They were having a great time so I didn't mind all the mud till I Realized Desiree was covered from head to toe in it, I went to go get my camera as her face was covered in it too till she started screaming...then I washed her face off and took a pic of just her muddy clothes and hair...good times!!!

Tequila & Salt

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror
where one could read it every day.
You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world
that you would die for.

2. At least 15 people in this world
love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you
is because they want to be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone,
even if they don't like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you
before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever,
something good comes from it.

10 When you think the world has turned its back on you
take another look.

11 Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks.

Good friends are like stars.......
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.

I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend while I'm here
then a whole truck load when I'm gone.

And always remember....when life hands you lemons, ask for Tequila and Salt & call me over.

The lack of posts have been due to the fact that I have been deathly ill since Monday...I woke up with a fever of 104F and it only got worse, I got a sorethroat, cold, and cough and my chest hurt, The fever got worse at nite reaching 105.8 a few times, causing me to be dizzy disoriented and in alot of pain. Thanks to all those who have been praying for me, my parents drove up from SD on wednesday to help me out and we went to the doc Thursday. Turns out I have a bad sinus infection and was tested for the flu and bronchitus...test results are due back in a few days. I read in the Fresno Bee that The Central Valley ER rooms are packed with people with the flu, its the worst flu epedemic in years! The Doc gave me a bunch of meds to take and thankfully I am feeling better but still not 100%. Desiree on the other hand is much better, still has a cough but nothing serious!

A little update on Desiree, since coming home from the hospital her fever has gone down, although she still has a croup sounding cough she seems much better! I took her in for a second breathing treatment yesterday which seemed to help her quite a bit, and although she was up alot last nite and still has a nasty sounding cough I am hoping/praying she will only get better from here on...Going to take her to her Pediatrician today for a follow up visit!
Thanks for everyones prayers.

Our baby is sick.

I took our little princess to the ER room yesterday afternoon as her fever had scaled from 103 to 105F and she had a croupe sounding cough with a difficult time breathing. Thankfully we were seen right away and they gave her some tylenol and motrin to bring down the fever, informed us she had croupe, and administered a 45-minute breathing treatment and some medicine to take home to dry up her congestion. We may be going back for more breathing treatments depending on how she is doing today. Croupe is sooo scary and I am glad I took her in for the treatment or I am sure it would have escalated into something much worse at night. I would like to ask if everyone could pray for her to breathe better and for her fever to go down. Thanks so much, will post updates.

Girls & their sense of fashion.

Just bought Desiree some cute shoes which she just loves. She has to wear them ALL the time, in fact when I took them off the other nite to put her to bed, she started crying and saying "Oh No, shoes..." & then woke up that nite crying for her shoes..Yea I had to go back to the store and get her a pair to wear inside too...Girls and their Shoes...ha ha! I know we are in trouble if she is starting this young.

Its been a week so hopefully any day now I should start to feel better, I mean how long can it go on for? Explains the lack of posts though.sorry!
