Desiree's Tap Dance Recital

We took the kids to Busch Gardens Friday! It was a hot day but we had a lot of fun! Duane and Trei went on the big coasters and I stayed with Desiree on the smaller rides. Here are a few pics I took of her.

Mothers Day

Desiree's class hosted a Mothers Day tea last week. The kids made each of their Mom's a hat, a booklet of all the wonderful things about Moms and served us punch and cookies. They also performed a few poems and songs. Here are a few pics of that special day! Don't you love my hat???

Trei's guitar recital

This is the first year that Trei has taken lessons on the guitar. His music instructor says not only is he naturally gifted in it but has great finger dexterity. Must be all the lego building he has done over the past few years ha ha! He has been taking lessons since the beginning of the school year and had his guitar recital this past Thursday. The songs he selected to play were "Every Breath You Take", and "American Pie". He did a tremendous job. Trei, we are so proud of your hard work!

The kids had a day off from school so I took them to the VA Air & Space museum. It was so fascinating and we had such a great time!!!
