The USO Sponsered Sesame Street to perform for all the kids on base this weekend as a "thank you" for all they sacrifice! They handed out free Elmo Spinner toys, a dvd about deployment starring Elmo, and did a show! The kids loved it and had a good time. Afterwords we went swimming on base...Here are a few pics I snapped!

Thanks for the prayers! Amy gave birth to healthy baby boy yesterday afternoon! Trevor weighed 8.5lbs and baby and Mommy are doing well! Welcome to our family Trevor and congratulations Amy and Michael!!!

This past Wednesday was Duanes last flight with the "Black Knights". Holding true to tradition they had champagne bottles in hand and sprayed him once he was out of the jet! The kids and I were able to be there and Trei and Desiree thought it was the coolest thing. After 3 years with the "kinghts" its kinda bitter-sweet to be leaving. But on to bigger and greater things right?

My sister Amy is currently at the hospital and in active labor with baby#2. I would like to ask you all for your prayers and thoughts for her today;that she is able to have a smooth, and problematic free delivery with as little pain as possible. Thank you!

Today was a Big day, Trei started the 1st grade, whooo hooo! He was so excited about his new classroom and teacher, Mrs. Bauer! Alot of his friends from Kindergarten will be in his class again this year, which is an added plus! Desiree in the Pre-K.

They had Duanes Farwell Friday evening at the Officer's club. All the families were invited to swim, eat and say Good bye. The kids and I were so proud of Duane recieving his compliments and plaque from his Skipper.

Took the kids to the roller rink today in Visalia. They Both loved it!Neither of them quit even though they fell alot.Trei was especially determined to do it on his own as he is a "big boy!" Sure enough after much trying on his part he was out in the middle of the rink slowly skating around by himself. We were both so proud of him. Major progress!
