Easter Chapel

The kids performed in Easter Chapel this year. It was nice to see them sing songs and take time to reflect on the true meaning of Easter.

Easter Egg Hunt

This year I decided to throw an Easter Egg hunt party for the kids and their friends. I planned games such as bean bag toss, TP toss, Strike zone, Sack Races, and balancing an egg on a spoon. Some of the games the kids had never done before but they had so much fun doing it. We also did an egg hunt that was challenging but fun for them. We were blessed to have a gorgeous day and it brought me joy to see the kids enjoying a day full of fun!

Here are a few pictures of Desiree recently. For her birthday she received a crochet hook, knitting needles and yarn. I taught her how to do the basics of crocheting and she caught on right away. Above is a picture of her crocheting.

Celebrating Desiree's 8th Birthday!

Another year has come and gone as we celebrate Desiree's 8th birthday! With each year she has grown, matured and has blessed us each day with her happy, spunky, vibrant, intelligent little self. We celebrated her birthday with a few friends at Build A Bear. They each made a furry little character and then came home to play together and celebrate with cake and ice cream. Thanks to each and everyone of you who sent cards, emails, presents, and birthday wishes! We are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.
