Things are Rolling...

Well, it looks as though we will be having a baby tomorrow...I woke up this morning and felt exhausted and not my usual self but got thru the day by staying busy going grocery shopping, taking Trei to the park and getting ready for some firends of ours to stay with us thru the weekend...All day though I have been feeling outta sorts, anyhoooooooo turns out minutes after our dear friends David and Angela walk in the door my water breaks...surprise surprise to me and Duane of course when I told him. I am due the 18th though they were gonna induce me the 10th for certain reasons so I have been praying that she comes early as opposed to late and it looks like I got my prayers answered..We didn't think she would come this weekend so we planned quite a few things but Babies come when they come and I have to say I am excited and a bit nervous at the same time...Will keep ya posted! But yea, to think that by tomorrow at this time I will have my baby is amazing!!!

Big thanks to you Mom

Last nite we drove Trei over to stay with his Grandma and cousins for the nite and to spend Today with them so Duane and I Could have a day together before the baby comes. Its been awhile-- (Dubai which was May of last year) since we have been able to do that so it was nice. We slept in this morning which was unusual and then Duane made me Pancakes along with some "Kona Coffee" which was a real treat. We then went to the hair salon so I could get my hair done then we came home and spent the afternoon watching movies till it was time to pick Trei up. I have to say that although we had a fun relaxing time together, by the end of the day we looked and each other and realized we missed Trei...Thanks soooo much Mom for watching him for the day, I know he had alot of fun!!!

Not a wink

Didn't sleep a wink last nite, I was my usual exhausted self when I rolled into bed last nite at 10p.m. thinking I would sleep real well since I didn't nap earlier in the day but Nope, tossed and turned for a few hours trying to find the "perfect Position" to sleep in so my lower back that has been throbbing would feel better but as you can guess from this post Didn't find it...Now its 6a.m. and Trei is Ready for a day of action and fun, Guess I better stumble downstairs and brew myself a cup of coffee so I Can at least try to keep up with him...Gotta tell you I am sooo looking forward to having the baby, adios to back pain and insomnia!!! Not gonna miss that one bit I tell ya! My wonderful Hubby gets in tonight real late, can't wait to see him and have him home!!! We missed you Honey!

Rain, Rain and More Rain

Another Rainy day here in San Diego, we have had the weirdest weather here over the last few weeks, not that I should complain since I know elsewhere its worse. But the lsat few weeks have been rather wacky, lots of rain and even some Hail. I have been having to take Trei out in between rain showers to ride his bike or the both of us would go Stir Crazy inside the house...All I can say is THANK GOD for the Bounce House we bought awhile back, its been a life saver!!!

My Dad sent me these "funnies", I think I may try the last one if I ever get pulled over in Texas again...

GOOD:
In Richardson, Texas State Trooper was running radar. He had a perfect spot to watch for speeders, but wasn't getting any. Then he discovered the problem. A 12 year old boy was standing up the road with a hand painted sign which read "RADAR TRAP AHEAD!"The officer later found a young accomplice down the road with a sign reading, "TIPS" and a bucket full of money. (And we used to just sell lemonade!)

BETTER:
A motorist was mailed a picture of his car speeding through an automated radar post in Plano, Texas. A $40 speeding ticket was included. Being cute, he sent the police department a picture of $40. The police responded with another mailed photo of handcuffs.

BEST:
A young woman was pulled over in Austin, Texas for speeding. As the TX State Trooper walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, "I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the Texas State Police Ball." He replied, "Texas State Troopers don't have balls." There was a moment of silence while she smiled and he realized what he'd just said. He then closed his book, got back in his patrol car and left. She was laughing too hard to start her car.

The weekend!

This weekend was a busy one, Duane just got back from his trip abroad for 3 weeks so it was nice to have the weekend to spend with him...I am going thru that "Nesting" stage they talk about in "What to expect when you are expecting" book and every other "Baby/pregnancy" book, where I just want everything set up and ready for the baby, mainly cause we have a few weeks left and I don't want to leave everything for the last minute...I want to be able to enjoy the last few weeks/weekends doing nothing...well not nothing, having an active 2 year old keeps us more then busy on weekends..but what I mean is not having to worry about "what If I go into labour and the baby's clothes aren't washed and put away yet, and so on and so on...." All that to say this weekend Duane with help from Trei, put together the baby Dresser/changing table, swing, bassinette, car seat, and some living room furniture we had just bought...THANKS HONEY!!! He was busy all day doing it, Trei was just fascinated and sooo happy to help out with the "Handyman Projects" with his set of tools! I took some pictures which I will post here. I think its finally safe to say we have everything ready for the baby, well at least 90% ready!

3 years

Last nite we went out to Denny's to celebrate 3 years since the nite we met...We didn't meet at Denny's but thats where we went afterwords to talk...So tonite we decided to go back there for "Good times" sake. It was cool almost surreal, we sat in the same booth and it sure brought back ALOT of memories, who knew that nite that we would be where we are today, married with 2 kids, well almost two kids... I am a Very Blessed Woman to have Met Duane, I think about it ALOT and am glad that we were both in the right place at the right time, for those who were there or know how we met you will agree, it was a miracle we are together...ha ha!

Welcome Home Duane

Duane got in this afternoon, it was soooo good to see him!!! Trei and I drove down to the squadron to pick him up, and I think cause Trei saw the base and all the planes and all he realized we were FINALLY picking Daddy up. He started getting excited and saying "DADDY", over & over again. When we saw Duane both Trei and ran up to see him and Trei grabbed on to him and hugged him and wouldn't let him go then started Crying. I think all his emotions finally caught up with him over the last 3 weeks that he was gone and he just didn't want to leave go of Daddy...After that he wouldn't let Duane get out of sight. It was funny to me cause Duane has been gone numerous times for Longer then 3-weeks but this time it just seemed to drag on and on. We are sooo glad he is back to spend this weekend with us!

2 Days

Two days till Duane gets back from his trip abroad..I Can't wait!!!I think Trei missed him about as much as I did. Every time the door bell rang or we were going somewhere in the car he would call for Daddy. Thankfully we were able to talk to each other every day and Trei got to talk to him as well, some days he had alot to say to Daddy and other days, well, nothing really! He will be back for a week then takes off again for another week to North Dakota to visit his family...but after that he is staying put as it will be time for the baby to be born. It will be nice to have him home again for a bit!

Cousins Visit

Yesterday My sister Claire and her family came over to spend the day with Trei, my Mom and I, it had been awhile since we had seen them so it was a fun time! The kids had alot of fun playing together, Trei shared his Bike with his cousin and best bud Emmer and had fun pushing him around in it...Trei usually will not let anyone go near his bike but he was more then happy to share it with Emmer, I think they have some sort of agreement, ha ha! I have to say I was pretty impressed. They spent the day playing outside riding bikes and coloring with Chalk and playing with Trei's Train set inside. All in all it was a good fun day for them..I took some pictures which I will post here.
