Pre-K Orientation

Duane and I took Trei to his Pre-K Orientation last nite, they took pictures for their "Cubbies" and we met his teachers and the other kids that will be attending his school. His 1st day of school is next Tuesday, September 5th and he will be attending 2 days a week. He is real excited about it as are we...our little boy is growing up!

Marco and Feli's visit!

Here are an assortment of pics from my sisters visit....I am still trying to capture a picture of her with the kids though she is rather stubborn about not wanting to be in the pictures, ahem Feli! Anyhoo they are here a few more days so I still have time....

Day at the Children's Museum

My sister and Brother-in-law have been visiting us so we have been trying to find some fun things to do with the kids and them while they are here so we decided to take the kids to the Children's Museum for a morning of fun. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, I think their favorite part was the shopping carts and pretending to grocery shop, they also played the piano, drums and played in the Puppet Theater. Here are the pics I took of them! Typical girl who enjoys shopping. BUGS! Boys working on a science project. I don't know who was more in to it, Trei or Duane, I think Duane...

My movie review

I highly recommend watching Rush Hour 3 and Bourne Ultimatum if you are looking for movies to watch at the Theater...Duane and I saw both the past two weekends thanks to my sister Feli and Hubby Marco for watching the kids! One an action movie and the other a comedy but both worth your money and very entertaining!

Did you see it?

Last nite was supposed to be "THE NIGHT" for Meteor showers...they said the best place to see them is somewhere away from city lights, like the country or in other words, Hanford, away from all the cities, civilization and all. Last night at 11p.m. I went outside and looked up in the sky for quite sometime and well, I saw stars, lots of them but none of them were shooting stars or even doing anything different then the normal thing stars do. They are always clear here since there are no lights around so I thought for sure if anyone would see the display it would be us. I even got up at different times throughout the night and didn't see anything. In fact it was odd, one time at 4a.m. when I looked up there were no stars at all, perhaps it was overcast??? Weird for Hanford, cause if there is 1 thing we have got going for us besides the smell of "fresh country air, (aka. Cow manure) its clear starry nites! Did anyone else see it?

Duanes Mom and sister visited this past week, we all had a nice visit & the kids enjoed seeing their cousin Noah again or as they call him, "Baby NoNo". We took some pics of the visit though it was a bit tricky getting all 3 grandkids to sit with Millie for a picture. They are all that stage where they can't sit still for more then a minute. We were somewhat successful in our attempts and managed to at least get them all in the photo, though not all looking at the camera. Here goes the pics.

Proud Uncle!
Trei and his cousin Noah. Grandma Millie and the Grandkids.
Duane, his sister Tendai and Mom, oh and Noah who at this point was done taking pictures.
