I don't always have the opportunity to bake but love doing it! Think I have mastered a truly yummy apple pie over the years! This is one Desiree and I made last night.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, cards and gifts, it made for a wonderful day! Duane surprised me with this "edible arrangement" that said 29 which was well thought out and made me smile!

Finished with finals for this semester, what a relief. I currently have no desire to sit at my computer or pick up a book but I am looking forward to enjoying the Summer months ahead and having time to update my blog more often...heh!

Western Christian's Track Meet!

Last Friday was the annual Track Meet at the kids's school. Each grade competes in a half lap, full lap, bean bag toss, and distance jump. Both Desiree and Trei came in 1st place at each event! They have been training hard so they were pleased with their 1st place ribbons!
