The kids and I went down to San Diego for two days to attend the Annual Naval Special Warfare campout on the beach! They planned a day full of events for the kids. We got to swim in a combat training tank which had a lower viewing area where we could take pictures of the kids swimming. They seemed to enjoy that the most as they could swim down to the windows and wave or be silly (and it was deeeeeep)...They had a rock wall, bounce houses, face painting and the biggest thrill of all (at least for me) was to go for a FASST ride up and down the bay in a rigid hull inflatable boat they use. It was SO fast and they did hard sharp turns at the same time which left us gripping on so we wouldn't go over! I guess they have had people fly off before! It was a fun day and in the evening they had a huge bonfire and roasted marshmellows than spent the night in the tent! It was their first time "camping" and they enjoyed it! We also spent time remembering those who recently lost their lives defending our country and the families and friends they left behind!

The Kiddos started back to school yesterday! Desiree was excited to be starting Kinder and Trei was proud to be going into the 2nd grade! I can't believe how big they are getting!

So Trei came in the room and showed us his latest creation, a helicopter. He didn't follow any directions but managed to build a fabulous one. I just think he is brilliant, I could never do that without directions and believe me I try.

Pictures from Soccer Camp

Coach Paul (It was dress your coach up day, which is why he is wearing a yellow tutu) giving Desiree her Team Shirt and certificate!

Trei got a shout out from his coaches daily about him being the backbone of the team and providing an awesome defense. All his team mates and friends called him "the Wall".

The kids started soccer camp yesterday hosted by Challenger Sports which is a group of professional British Soccer athletes who devote their time over the Summer to teach children the fundamentals of soccer!!! Should be fun if we can survive the heat!!!

Last week we took a trip up North to visit some family. The kids had so much fun seeing their cousins! I snapped quite a few pictures so I divided them up over several posts so as not to be too confusing.

Evan, too cool to pose for the camera!
Ella, Trei and Emmer up in the Lego loft!

Dad this picture reminded me of some of your poses which these youngsters came up with all on their own for this pic!

Evie and Desiree painting rocks! Two peas in a pod as they both love artsie stuff!

Ella & Trei posing in front of the lamas on our walk through the neighborhood as Trei knew I dislike them so he intentionally took a picture here.

Trei and Emmer shooting hoops in the trampoline!

The kids and I went up to visit Amy and Michael for 2 days and while there we hit up so many fun parks. There was one with a splash area and another that had this fun long slide that the kids spent the entire time going up and down. I tried it out myself several times and it was a good time!

Conner and Trei busy at work!

Cute Trevor!
