I"m headed down to San Diego today for the weekend to see my Sisters New baby Noelle before they take off to Albania in a few weeks, should be fun!!!

I bought Duane "Rockband" as a Father's Day gift, partially cause he has been wanting it & I thot it was an appropraite gift cause the kids can play it with him too! For those who aren't familiar with it, its a game thats interactive, it comes with a Guitar, Drum set and microphone... There are a number of songs you can "play" & if you hit all the notes right, you win points and earn songs, clothes, and places to play as a band. There is beginners, intermediate and advance... when you get good enough you can even compete with other "Bands"..Its pretty fun and challenging too even on the lowest setting heh! Trei is way better at it then me & I just found out how competitive I am, ha ha, even against my own kids...good times..here are some pics I took of them the other nite.

I have had and tried soooo many and while I have liked a few different ones in the past, this one tops them all for now! It took me half the time to straighten my hair and left it frizz free & silky looking...They have 2 types one for regular less curly hair (MP) and one for more Coarse hair (XP) the average person however like me is fine with the MP...The kit comes with 2, a small one for touch ups and a regular size one, a brush, a nice carrying bag to store it and some hair products...Anyhew, for all those of you who ask me what kind of flatirons to get, check this one out!

Trei's favorite Cartoon, "The Pink Panther". While down in SD a few weeks back my brother Mike showed it to him and since then thats all he wants to see, he picked it out in the Video Store all by himself. Mike, You should be proud!!! I might add its pretty entertaining for adults as well!

Happy Fathers Day Dad, You are always there for me when I need help with anything,you are kind and understanding and best of all you have a wonderful sense of humour which is a talent I think..Hope you have a relaxing Father's Day, you deserve it!!!

And to my wonderful Hubby...Thanks for being a wonderful, kind & paitient Father to the kids, and a provider to us, we are happy you made it home for Father's day so we could share this special day with you!

We had a nice pre-Fathers Day surprise, Duane and his squadron came home a day early from their DET just in time for Fathers Day! We went down to the squadron & waited in the Hangar to greet them, the kids were soooo excited & happy to see their Daddy! While Desiree pulled her "Shy" stunt, --bowing her head and looking away..." she warmed up to him in a few minutes and proceeded to follow him everywhere for the rest of the day, never letting him leave her sight! I think she is worried he will leave again...

The kids finished swim school today, they both advanced in their classes! Desiree loves the water and is swimming pretty well, she even jumped off the diving board. Trei when he isn't being silly swims well too, though he seems to prefer to tread water! I snapped a few pics of them today!

So today I told Trei to draw a picture of his family and this is what he drew....Daddy, Trei, (cause he always has to be near Daddy he says,) Desiree, Mommy and "Nilly" our cat....for some reason I am the tallest and have no eyes.Heh! Sunday Fun!

Took the kids to Sunday School today then spent the rest of the morning swimming with friends & enjoying a picnic. It was 96 degrees here, by no means the heat of Summer for us, but definently warm enough to take a dip! The sun wiped us out, I think it will be an early to bed for all of us tonite!Yippee!

Trei finished K 4 from Abeka today!!! Its a big accomplishment for him & me, he will be starting K-5 soon mainly cause he enjoys it so much and loves to learn so I may as well teach him while he is interested in school! Tonite we are gonna celebrate with a movie and snacks, Ice-cream sandwiches, his favorite!

My sister Feli had a baby girl this morning at 9:19 am. Her name is Noelle. She is 8 lbs. 6 ozs. And is 20 inches long. Congratulations Marco & Feli on you new little bundle!!!! Dean is a big brother now, whooo hooo!!!!

Jury Duty

Got a notice in the mail that I am summoned for Jury duty...heh! Not sure how thats gonna work considering Duane isn't around. Called the office and the lady told me its my civic duty & that the judge will decide if my circumstances warrant an exemption....Good times!

Baby Shower

We threw a baby shower for my sister while I was down in SD, she was due on my birthday but is still waiting for her little girl to come. It worked out good for us though cause she and we were able to enjoy an evening of fun!

The Glowing Mom... I know as you read this you are mortified I said that cause I know at 41 weeks the last thing one feels is glowing...I have been there and done that & the thots that ran thru my head were "I don't glow in pregnancy and when is this baby coming out...." Yea I guess my pregnancies weren't very good but the two bundles of joy I got have been worth every minute of it.

Birthday/Memorial day celebration.

We celebrated my Birthday and Memorial day with a BBQ courtesy of my Bro and sister-in-law. Most of my family was there as well as friends. I was showered with Musical cards and Champagne (my all time favorite drink), Gift cards which I love and a Prada purse which my sister and her Fiance brought all the way back from Italy. Yup I am spoiled and loving it! My brother invited us down to SD for Memorial weekend so we spent a week hanging out with them. Trei and Desiree loved their "Untle Mike" as Desiree calls him, and enjoyed playing with the kids & their many indoor pets. Casey has 2 snakes & Desiree who has no fear of animals held the snake and kissed it, too bad I didn't get that on camera. Nina graciously took me Shopping thru "Buffalo" clothes & her closet which has an enormous selection of nice trendy clothing all my size. I was like a kid in a candy store, I can't tell ya when was the last time I got so many clothes. We also went out to sushi with some friends thanks to Mike who watched my kiddos so I could go & the day B4 I left I got to watch my neice and Nephews play BBALL and Volley ball at the YMCA!!!It was a good trip, thanks for having us Mike & Nina!
