Desiree just started taking Piano lessons last week and is so excited about it. She comes home each day from school to practice! I am so proud of her!!!

Our Fun Winter Weekend!!!

 Desiree was ecstatic that it was snowing as you can see from this picture.

 Making our Snowman!!!

 Desiree put her Redskins hat on the snowman to keep him warm so Trei, being the devout Cowboys fan that he is, refused to pose with her. Once she was done he removed the stocking cap and placed his Stormtrooper hat prior to being photographed. Silly Kids!!!

Friday afternoon we were blessed to get some snow. The kids were super excited and hoped it would stick so we could play in it. Well, they got their wish and we spent Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday throwing snowballs, making a snowman and sledding. We don't have any hills nearby (as MT Trashmore no longer lets people use their slopes for sledding) so I managed to be creative enough to pull the kids across the snow in our back yard for several hours which they really enjoyed! We had such a fun weekend enjoying the snow I felt like I was a kid again.

These were taken two days before Christmas. Salli, who teaches Desiree riding lessons, set up a special morning for the kids. She decorated several trees along a path in the forest with holiday ornaments and dressed up Maple the horse as rudolph and they each rode through to search and collect holiday ornaments. It was a gorgeous morning and the kids had a fun time.

BasketBall

Trei recently started playing in a Basketball league. He had his 1st game last Saturday and won!!! Here are some pictures we took.

Field Trip to VFA-213

Duane hosted a field trip for the 3rd graders at Trei's school at his squadron. They got a tour of the squadron, hangar and had the opportunity to look inside the jet. All the kids and teachers thought it was AWESOME!!!
