We are headed down to San Diego for a few days over the New Years to see family and go to Legoland! Happy New Years 2010!!!

Live Nativity

Every Year in "Riverdale" a church puts on a live Nativity for the public to drive thru and see from December 22nd thru the 26th. This was the first year we heard about it and went, it was awesome, it was done well and it was nice for the kids to see what happend on Christmas "come to life" we drove thru it a couple of times so I snapped a couple pics.

Before Christmas Break someone donated Rubber Bark for the Kids' school playareas, it was VERY needed as previously there was sand and with the wet weather we get here in the winter its a mess and the kids usually can't play in it...So Friday Morning the Bark was delivered and when school was dismissed at noon a bunch of Parent volunteers, the principals and us lended a hand to get it in. What we thought would take a day or two turned out to only take a few Hours...Duane headed up the team and got it put in before the Christmas Holiday!!!!

Christmas Came early for me...I was supposed to go in for Jury Duty today and when I called it was cancelled, whooo hooooo, so I got to stay home and sleep in, yay! Considering I went last year and was picked I was glad that the case was cancelled!

Today is the last day of School before Christmas Break. The kids are having Christmas Parties in their class rooms with treats and a Book Exchange, Desiree & her class is going to perform a few songs as well too which we are invited to see...We are really looking forward to it!!!

2 days of 105 fevers for poor Desiree....last nite before Trei's party I prayed for Desiree again and for a miracle for Trei so that we could all go to his party today, and she woke up sweating last nite and stayed cool all nite and only has a lowgrade fever today so we took her with us to "pump-it-up" for his birthday party. All his school/soccer friends were able to make it and he had a great time...we filmed it and took pictures so I will be posting those soon! Thanks for all the prayers we were all so happy we could go!

Desiree woke up this morning with a fever of 105.8 yup the thermometer works just fine,she is on fire! Took her to the doc and they ran tests, checked ears, eyes, throat,& lungs and nothing is wrong they say the fever needs to run its course, guess its the Flu, Please pray for her she is miserable and Treis party is this Saturday!!!!

Tonite is the Christmas party which I look forward to going to every year, a chance to relax and get out of the house for a bit, but since they booked it on Wednesday nite???? at 5:30 and with Finals tomorrow my sitter wasn't available. Guess its a good thing considering Trei still isn't 100% better from his Asthma attack this past weekend...Duane is going and is the Master of Ceremonies so I will have to ask the other girls for pictures and how it went!

Each week The school has awards for "Boy/girl citizen" of the week and also a Mystery Student. Last Friday Trei received the Mystery student award, he was so excited and both Duane and I were there to see him get his certificate. Here is the Pic we snapped with him and his Principal!

Kinder Thanksgiving Poem

So I spent the morning in the VFA-154 hangar serving chili for the Kids Christmas Party fundraiser, it was perfect cause it was a cold morning so alot of folks came down for some chili...but It was cold in there as usual so I have been chilled all day, to think Hanford in the Summer gets up to 115F and then in the winter it gets as low as 30F....Extreme weather I tell you and after 3 years I am still not used to either!
