Today The Kindergarten Class had an Easter Egg Hunt at their school. They were thrilled to run through the playground and look for the eggs. They had hand decorated their bags so they were set and ready to go. Afterwords Desiree and her class shared Pizza and popsicles in the shape of crayons to celebrate her birthday. It was a fun day!

Celebrating Desiree's Birthday with Friends & Family
This past Saturday we had a birthday party for Desiree and we were blessed that some of our family & friends were able to attend. It was a gorgeous day and the kids enjoyed bouncing in the bounce house, twirlling through bubbles, playing "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" and each taking a turn to whack the pinata. Desiree loves anything and everthing that has to do with the outdoors so it was the perfect party for her and she enjoyed it immensely! Thanks to everyone who sent birthday wishes, cards and presents making her day even more special! I can't believe that she will be turning six this coming Sunday it seems like yesterday she was turning 3. She is such a joy and blessing in our lives!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Life has been in fulllll swing to say the least and I just haven't gotten to it. For those who have been keeping us in your prayers recently THANK YOU. We are taking it a day at a time and trusting that God will get us through this time.
PEACH BLOSSOM
The 2nd Graders attended the annual Peach Blossom literacy fair at Fresno State this past Thursday. They were invited back this year to recite a poem in front of a large audience and received a "superior" rating once again. The poem they recited was "My doggy likes to disco" and everyone just loved it. They've been working on it daily in class for over a month now and it sure paid off.
Project Fair
The kids' school had their annual Project Fair a few weeks ago. Desiree had to choose her favorite book then write her favorite part accompanied by a posterboard drawing and model. She really enjoyed every minute of making her project and came up with so many creative ideas. Trei had to do the Life Cycle of an animal or plant. He selected Emperor Penguins and enjoyed doing the research and putting it all together. It was a fun evening viewing all the projects and watching the kids perform as well too.
