Equestrian Show

Desiree participated in an equestrian competition this past weekend. The girls had to show the judge how to prepare to mount, jump, and post while maintaining proper posture. They also were asked the different parts of the horse, saddle, reins, stirrups etc...They all did so well and Desiree took home the blue ribbon and trophy for 1st place! She was so excited and we are so proud of her. After the contest they played a few games while riding their horses. They had to balance an egg on a spoon while trotting and eat a donut off a stick with no hands. They each got a ribbon for these events too! We filmed the competition but I snapped a few pics of her doing the games and with her trophy and ribbons above.

 Water submerged the entire dock and all the way up through the back gate.

Our neighbors back yard was half way covered in water.
