YES, We got more snow!!!

5 Missed school days due to snow. The kids didn't seem to mind though. Here are a few pictures of them and a friend playing in our winter wonderland.

Desiree and her Super Hero Puppy Sprinkles

As you can see above, Desiree loves her pup Sprinkles. Tonight, she put her super hero cape on her. Sprinkles, being the good sport she is, paraded through the house with it for several hours. I know she doesn't looked thrilled in the picture but she was actually running around and having fun with Desiree.

Last weekend we took the kids to see the Fresh Beat Band Live here in VA Beach. The kids had a lot of fun. Here are two pics I took of the evening.

Snow, Snow & more Snow

Virginia Beach has been hit with an unusually cold winter. Last week we had a snow storm that lasted throughout the night and had pretty much the whole town closed down for two days. Above are some pictures we took in our back yard as the kids and dog played for hours in the snow. It had all melted this past weekend and tonight we are experiencing another snow storm that is supposed to drop anywhere from 8-14 inches of snow. The kids are thrilled to not have to attend school tomorrow. Even though I enjoy having some snow, I am wishing for Spring to arrive.

Christmas in NYC

My sister Amy and family went to NYC for Christmas so we decided to join them. It was a great time as we showed them around Manhattan, took them to the Statue of Liberty (unfortunately it was on the 1 day that it rained there), Saw the Christmas Spectacular by the Rockettes and spent a lot of time in Central Park.
