My sister-in-law Tendai and her baby Noah will be arriving tonite to stay with us for a week. I am eager to see Noah since me and the kids haven't "met'" him yet, and see how our kids interact with their cousin. Should be a fun week, pictures I am sure will follow...

Congratulations Laura and Eric

Congrats to my good friend Laura and her husband Eric on the birth of their twins born April 18th, 2007. Charlotte Anne Reeves weighing 7lbs 14ozs and Everett Arthur Reeves weighing 9lbs 5 ozs. Wishing you both the best with your bundles of joy! Lots of work ahead of you but lots of fun as well!

Party, Party, Party

My sister Amy, and good friends Justin and Nadia came up to visit this past weekend, both of our daughters share the same birthday, they are less then 1 hour apart so we decided to celebrate their birthday's together. It was fun to see them interact and play together, they have similar gestures and are into the same toys, books and games. They got along real well as did Trei. It was a fun time!!! Trei loved playing Cars with Justin, who for some odd reason called him "Jason" the entire time, how trei came with that is beyond me though Justin said he was called that alot growing up since his younger borther is named that. Sorry about that Justin! Thanks Justin for playing with him! It was also great to see my sister again, I don't see her enough (hint...hint amy..) the kids were happy to see their Auntie and loved the gifts you got them. Thanks for driving all the way up here to see us, we had a great time. I took wayyy too many pictures so here goes...

Play Time

The girls and Trei had such a fun time crawlling, walking and chasing each other around & playing together. The girls were more into all of Trei's Cars and trains then Desiree's dolls, it was cute to see how they are into the same things and have alot of the same gestures. Born less then an hour apart could be why???

Easter pictures

We had a wonderful Easter, we read the "Easter Story" to the kids and spent the day together as a family. It was a gorgeous day and we spent most of it outside, Trei got a "Hot Wheels" Easter basket that came with a bunch of cars and "monster Trucks" along with a Monster Truck Dvd which he and Daddy watched together a few times. He also got an "American Chopper" toy motorcycle which he just loves and plays ONLY WITH DADDY!!! After that we had an Easter Egg hunt with our friends in our Cul-de-sac and the boys flew Kites. We ended the day with a yummy BBQ! It was a Gooooood day!!!!

Morro Bay

Sooo we went to Morro bay last weekend to check it out since its the closest beach to us, our plan was to take the kids to the beach so they could make sandcastles, take a swim and all that other "good beach stuff" but as the coast goes when we got there it was about 15 degrees cooler then Hanford and very windy. So we walked around to all the stores, had lunch and got some salt water taffy and some trinkets and then sat by the beach snuggled up in blankets and watched folks fly kites while we fed the seaguls...Might I add the seaguls are spoiled there, they won't take bread they want fries or chips, stuff like that and they are ruthless!!!! We started with a few fries then swarms of them came all over us and we were just tossing food like crazy while screaming and laughing at the same time. (Trei and I that is)...No bird droppings though, we were lucky in that respect! Anyhoo here is the only picture I managed to take of Morro Rock! Yea its big!

Pictures of Noah

Here is an update and some pictures of Noah that Tendai sent me....Isn't he a "Chunker?" Too cute!

"Here is a recent picture of Noah! Isn't he chubby!! He weighed 12 pounds and was 22 inches tall at the pediatrician's office last week. Noah is doing quite well since leaving the NICU although he has acid reflux that causes him pain occasionally. He sleeps quite a bit but also wakes up to eat every 2-3 hours. Sometimes he will let me sleep 5-6 hours at night YAYYY!

We are starting to see real smiles and grins when he interacts with us especially after a nap or after he has eaten, which is developmentally right in line with his adjusted age. Chronologically Noah is 4 months and almost 2 weeks, but if you adjust for the fact that he wasn't supposed to be born until March 1, he is 1 month and 10 days. We are not supposed to expected him to do things that a 4 month old would do because all that time between December and March Noah was really just growing and developing like he would have in the womb. Noah impresses us the most when he sees us and follows us with his eyes and head all over the room!

Anyway I don't want to wear you out with all that I could tell you about Noah! I just wanted to let you know we having been doing just fine and for you to see for yourself.-Tendai"
