28th Birthday!

I had a great birthday this past weekend, Duane and the kids got me a nice present and then celebrated with Ice Cream (cause I am Not a cake person) and a BBQ dinner! It was a fun low-key birthday!!! My Bad luck

So Duane bought us "Sonic" toothbrushes and I have been hesitant in using them cause I am used to my good ol' faithful toothbrush, anyhoo I finally decided, when my toothbrush was worn, that I would start using it...and guess what happend...heh heh, I am brushing and all is going well when suddenly as I round the back corner of my mouth I hear like a weird Hummm and then I felt this weird piece of something in my mouth so I stop brushing to check it out and go figure it knocked out one of my silver fillings..ARGH!!!! I was sooooooo bummed cause for 1 I hate going to the dentist and for 2 it was my 1st experience with that toothbrush..all that to say after going to get my tooth fixed I am once again leary of using that Amazing Sonic Brush..guess it really does get everything out of your teeth! Heh!

Sea World

We went to Sea World a few weeks ago to celebrate Trei's Full recovery and the kids had a great time running around everywhere. Desiree LOVES animals so she had fun petting the horses, seeing the Dolphins and penguins and Trei took off at the Obstacle course/Play area and scaled the nets, ran across the bridges and we could barely keep up with him...He is definenlty back to his Healthy, exploring, busy little self! Got to see my Brother Mike and his family as well as my Dad..it was a good time!!! Here are the pics we took...not too many since we had our hands full with both kids walking/running everywhere now!

Swim photos

The kids have been going to swim school every day now for the past two weeks, yesterday was the 1st day the parents were able to sit and watch what they have learned. Trei was showing off all his "New Moves", go figure his favorite part of class is when he gets to jump off the diving board and swim to the side. He is doing real well and its good therapy for his leg. Desiree initially cried the 1st few times but now she loves it and swims assisted for a few minutes and knows how to swim up to the top after being submerged in the water. I am gonna sign them up again for a few more sessions so that hopefully they will master the "Basics" of swimming and to keep them busy and cool this summer! Here are the pics we took!

Trei's new Bike!

Trei got a new bike today, he has been riding his tricycle for the last two years so we figured it was time to bump him up to a real bike...he picked it out himself along with his new helmet. As you will see in the pics, little sis got his trike!

Swim, baby, swim.

The kids started swim school last Monday, Desiree has private classes and Trei is in a group of 4. He absolutely LOVES it!!! He looks forward to it everyday, when we are driving there he says "I need to go swimming" and when we leave he says "I need to go swimming again tomorrow".. Thankfully they are both signed up for a two week course which will teach them the "Basics", then he will go on to more after that. With the Summer's as hot as they are here, its about the only thing we can do with the kids outside. This Thursday and Friday we get to watch what they learned, should be fun!!!!

Duane and his buddy Jason finished our playground last weekend, they laid sand and Plastic Bark down on the ground and my Dad and Duane laid the bricks around it...Sure looks nice no? and I won't worry as much if the kids should fall!

Tendai's visit

My sister-in-law Tendai came this past week to visit with "Baby Noah". It was so nice to see her and meet him for the 1st time, he is so cute and Chubby! Trei & Desiree just loved him, Desiree was really checking him out, she wanted to touch his nose, eyes cheeks and hair, (she probably wonders why he has more hair then her, heh!!!) It was a nice visit, thanks for coming out to see us Tendai, hope to see you again soon! Here are the pics I took of them and the kids!

Proud Uncle Duane! Uncle Anaclet & Auntie Tendai brought Trei a "Spider man" Motorcycle which Desiree also took a fancy too, so I caught her on camera with it.
