After 2 months of not being able to use my Elliptical, its back and running!!! YAY!!! Not that it ever left but it was "Out of action" for awhile and the maintence guys finally made their way to our little town...Hanford...I usually workout on it at least 5 days a week while the kids are napping and even though we got a treadmill, I have still missed it...Small Joys I know!

Swim pics

The kids attended their 2nd session of swim school these past two weeks and Trei graduated from "Beginner" to "Beginner Advanced", the teacher said he made tremendous progress this time, she said he is kicking and moving his arms real well thru the water, something he wasn't doing so much of before. Guess his leg is getting stronger! Desiree is loving the water (who wouldn't in 100F weather right??) and is swimming for a few seconds when they put her under water! They each got certificates and have one more two week session at the end of July!

Children's Museum!

I have been soooo desperate to find things to do for the kids since we live in such a small town. I went online and found they had a kids museum about 20 minutes away so I called up my girlfriend and we went...it was small, we almost drove right past it and we were the ONLY ones there. It made for a good laugh. But it was nice and perfect for the kids. They had soooo much fun and with no one else there we had the place to ourselves. They did Puppets in the Mini theater, went "Grocery Shopping", played piano, etc....it was a great time! Here are the MANY pics I took!

Well my neck is doing better, meaning I can turn it to the left again without an excruciating shooting pain...I Went to the Chiropractor three times and feel better...he suggests I go once a month which I think is a good idea considering my problem!
It sure makes you thankful for a good turning neck after you can't move it for a few days!

Pain in the....Neck, Literally!!!

I woke up yesterday morning fine, early thanks to Trei ,but feeling fine, then an hour into my day I get a sharp pain in my neck and literally in minutes am unable to turn my neck to the left. As the day progressed it got worse and worse...The pain was soooo sharp,It was unbearable. I finally busted out the phone book and looked up Chiropractors in Hanford/Lemoore cause I could no longer take the pain especially since I am with the kids alone...Thankfully I found a place that could see me so I went in to get adjusted. The Doc told me that I slept wrong and asked if I had an accident in the past...yes the notorious Jet Skiing accident 6 years ago where I got a BAD CASE of whiplash...He said on a scale of 1-10 I was a 9....I sure felt like a 9!!!He said had he just felt my neck with no information from me of a previous accident he would have thought I had gotten into a BAD accident the day before. He told me once you get whiplash or any bad neck injury even with treatment (which I did have for 2 years after that), you will get better but it will always be damaged and will have problems with it off and on...I haven't had any neck problems for sooo long so I guess it was just a combination of things, a bad accident years ago and sleeping wrong, WAYYY wrong... Anyhooo he adjusted me and I left feeling the same, in ALOT OF PAIN!!!!!!!!!!! I iced it off and on for the rest of the day and went to bed...praying I would be better in the morning. Today I feel better, not completly better by any means but better then yesterday...still can't fully turn my head to the left, but hopefully by tomorrow I will be 100%. I have another appt Monday, so hopefully I can get back on track to seeing the chiropractor regularly so this doesn't happen again!

Grandma and Desiree

Mom came thru the other nite on her way down to San Diego so I took advantage of snapping a few shots with her and the kids, well actually the only photos that turned out were of her and Desiree...The others turned out blurry...grrr..gotta figure out why my camera is doing that.

Well its summer time so school is out yehawww, meaning my friend Julia and her son Caden can come over and hang out more! The boys love it and well, we get some good "Girl talk" out of it too! Anyhoo, here are a few snap shots I took of the two of them the other nite....

ME TIME

sooo today a friend of mine came over and watched the kiddos for an hour so I could go for some "Me Time", something I very rarely do, heh! I went and got a relaxing pedicure, it was soooo nice, I almost fell asleep in the chair. What was shocking to me though was they had two HUGE flat screen TV's in there with Movies on. It made me think I should get into the "Nail Business", seems they do pretty well for themselves!

Day Out with Daddy!

We took the kids to "Pump-it-up" Friday, to jump out some of their energy, and do something fun with Daddy before he left for 3 weeks. The kids had a blast, Trei was non-stop, going up the inflatable ladders and slides and bouncing everywhere. Its been awhile since we have been so it was a good time! I took a few pics which didn't turn out too well but heh, better then nothing right???

Memorial Day BBQ

We had friends and family over for Memorial day, Duane fired up the grill and the kids played in the bounce house and yard while we all chatted...good food, good company good drinks, what more could you ask for???
