We Are taking off tomorrow...

The kids & I are headed to Montana to stay at my Nana's ranch for a week, my parents, brother, and sis Amy will be there...Should be fun to swim, fish and ride horses and take in the beautiful scenery! Will be back Saturday & will post all the pics I take!

Gunite!

The guys arrived right at 1 yesterday and did the gunite for our pool, it was pretty cool to watch and really shaped our pool, 2 days before plaster & tile and then comes decking then we are good to go!!!

We went to a Hail & Farewell last weekend for Duane's CO and XO, here is a pic that was taken of us at the party!

Ice-Cream Social

It was my turn to host the monthly Wives Club meeting with a friend of Mine Julie, we decided to do something a little different then normal and had an Ice-Cream party/mtg. Everyone brought their favorite ice-cream to share and we provided the toppings..As you can imagine there was ALOT of ice-cream and goodies to share...& I still have a freezer full to last for the next few months, no complaints here! Yum, yum, yum. Here are some pics I took of that nite.

Pool Update

This week they finished the plumbing and the framing, they start the Gunite next week, whoo hoo!!!

Gas Prices oddly are going down here, Regular has been $4.65 and today while driving by our local CHEVRON I noticed it was $4.49, I had to do a double take as for awhile it had been going up 5 cents a week....No complaints here though...

So I decided to buckle down and start Potty-training Desiree at the start of last week..I thot it would be a long, trying experience as it was with Trei, and the 1st few days I think I probably spot cleaned my entire carpet one spot at a time...but 2 days ago it just "clicked" with her and she has been going on the potty and staying dry!!!! 1 week, not bad!!!

A work in Progress

So we decided 2 weeks ago to put a pool in our back yard which led to getting the different pool companies in a bidding war, after getting the best deal they started digging yesterday! Here are the pictures I took of yesterdays project...The kids Loved watching the bull-dozers at work!!! They estimated 25 days before we can swim!!! Will continue posting updates, so stay tuned...

The Verdict

Went in to see if I was going to be selected as a juror this morning, and was 1 of 20 who were selected to the jury panel, from there they decide which 12 will be the jury for the trial. After a series of Group questions the Defense and prosecutors dimiss certain individuals, I was the last one to be dismissed after a 15minute discussion between the prosectuor and defense, with the prosecutors wanting to keep me...anyhoo when all was said and done they didn't select me, close call though! whoo hoo!!!!

Soooo my Jury Summons day is tomorrow.... Don't know how long it will take me to find out whether or not I am selected. In some ways it would be nice, a day or two of hearing adult conversations as opposed to a 2 & 4 year old chatter, it almost sounds relaxing to just sit in a chair and listen instead of running around all day! But unfortuantly I can't really be selected cause I have no one to watch my kiddos during the trial, so pray I don't get selected!

My Sister Feli and family headed back home (Albania) today. Sure was nice seeing you, hoping you have a good, safe trip!!! Gonna miss you alot!

San Diego Trip

Went down to SD this past weeked to visit with my sister and see her new little bundle....Although a very short visit we had a fun time, us girls went and got our hair done and went out to dinner and also spent time with the kids, it was a fun time! Here are some pics I took!

Dad and I and a VERY LARGE Ice cream...heh! here is the story behind that one...I asked my sister Amy to get me some ice cream since I was wedged between 2 people and couldn't really get out. Anyhew I gave her specific instructions, "Amy, I want a big ice cream in the bowl not a small cone or a small bowl but a soup bowl etc..." Anyhooo she goes up to get it and is trying to obey my orders and then when she went to shut it off & it kept on going..ha ha, and thats what I got an enormous ice cream, which even I couldn't finish, and I LOVE ICE CREAM. So I took a pic of it...I guess thats why there is that saying "Be careful what you wish for."
