Tonite we went to Trei's Pre-K orientation. He was thrilled to see all his teachers and friends again and is eager to start after Labor day! They took their pictures for their name tags and got to play for awhile while us parents had an orientation meeting with the teachers. I snapped this pic of him, he looks so grown up!

Grape picking

My Friend and I took our kids on an outing to pick grapes at http://www.upickgrapes.com/. They had a cute set up with a small petting zoo where they got to see Donkeys, goats, llamas, chickens & an Emu. Trei got to help feed the animals too which he enjoyed. After cleaning up we got our wagons, & Grape clippers and headed to the vines where they all cut down clusters of grapes, Desiree was more interested in Eating then clipping, but Trei and I scored a bunch!!! It was a fun time and we have SOOO Many grapes in our freezer and fridge and we even took some to our neighbours! Here are some pics I snapped.

Desiree's artwork

As you can see, Desiree found Trei's school pencil & did her artwork on the walls of the toy room today!!! Heh!

Desi took her first trip down the slide today, when she got to the bottom she looked up at me so proud of her accomplishment. She proceeded to do it for the next hour with Trei. Take a look...

Haircut day!!!

Took Trei in for a haircut today before school starts in 2 weeks and while there decided to get desiree's trimmed too...she was so good, she just sat there so still looking in the mirror at the lady cutting her hair...she had a funny face on like "Hey, why does she get to use scissors to cut my hair and I got in trouble when I did.?" As a treat afterwords I always take them to TCBY to get ice creams so I snapped a few pics of them with my camera on my phone and figured I would try posting them to see how they turn out...

My Mom & Dad just came through for a short visit, the kids were thrilled and had a fun time showing Grammy and Buddy their new pool & slide!!! My mom even went down the slide which was cool for Trei, it was great to see you guys and a nice treat while Daddy is gone. Have a safe Trip home!!!

They installed the water slide Friday and Trei has been having a blast going up and down it...me too!!!

Our 1st swim

Yesterday we swam in our new pool for the 1st time, it was so much fun and cool to see our back yard transformed from dirt to an oasis! I snapped a few pics...we still are having the deck sealed and a guardian fence put around, but this is what the pool looks like and we are enjoying every minute of it...

Our little princess while playing in the Toy Room with Trei, decided to get into his school desk and take out his kid scissors and cut a lock of hair off the front of her hair...I hear a "Mooommmmy, Desiree cut her hair" from the next room and go in there and sure enough there it is...guess every kid does that at some point in their life, Trei hasn't yet though, phew!!! Ya can't notice too badly with Desiree, maybe she has a future as a hairdresser??? Grinning thinking she did a really good job on her hair! As you can see, the left side in the pic is considerably shorter then the right side.Maybe I should give her back the scissors so she can even it out...

Desiree's catch of the day, seaweed!Soooo, while at the lake fishing we had rather an eventful experience aside from catching fish...My Nephew had been joking with me from the second we got there that there are snakes in the toilet and yada yada, Bruce had told him not to joke cause there are alot of rattlesnakes on the Ranch, anyhooo after being their awhile I finally "had to go" so I go into the outhouse & hear a rattling sound, my1st reaction is "maybe its a sprinkler going off", well yea nope I thot to myself, I doubt there are sprinklers down by the lake in all the brush so my 2nd thot is, its a rattlesnake cause I have heard one before...so I look behind this white box that was in there & sure enough its in the corner all coiled up...You may think I ran out of their screamin' but I actually stopped and thot "its behind the box I probably have time to go & get outta there b-4 it comes out" but I opted to NOT go and left the "facility" & told the others who at 1st thot I was joking. So Owen & his Dad got their riffles outta the car and shot it...all that to say it wasn't your every day trip to the bathroom!

Horse back Riding

We were able to take the kids horseback riding for an hour which they loved, neither wanted to get down! After they had their turn us Older guys went on an hour ride around the Ranch, it was sooo beautiful and fun to ride, I did better this time then last time....I think I bore the guys last time they took us as I was wayyy behind, but this time my horse did more of a trot and I kept up with the pack, whoo hooo!!! Feli you would have been proud!

We Celebrated Casey's 11th Birthday while at the Ranch, instead of cake he chose Pizza & Ice Cream, wise choice!!! Mike started out with a Nsync/Backstreet boy rendition of "Happy Birthday"& Dad took over with a sorta rap version from I don't know where, but it made for good laughs! He got some great gifts, a Tony Romo Jersey, Chuck Norris posters which were hillarious, & a Funny MT T-shirt!!!! Good times!
