My Sister Amy and Michael came up to see us a few days ago, we had such a nice visit. Michael made us some Italian Mushroom Pasta, salad, & Espresso...They brought us up a hand picked gift basket with all different kinds of delicasies from Italy...Not many people seem to do personalized gifts anymore (thats me inculded) so it was real nice!!!! So nice to see you two, we hope you have a wonderful New Year, and Congrats on your little boy thats on the way...(hope he arrives on my birthday, ha ha).

My Baby boy turned 5 on Friday, he has been looking forward to this day for a loong time, well all year at least!!! I can't believe he is 5, where has the time gone? I know he has been thru ALOT in his 5 little years, but yet it still seems like almost yesterday he was a baby. He is such a joy though, such a happy, cheerful, animated little dude...always makes me laugh and says the cutest things. He has a knack in cheering other people up, and is sooo compassionate to others. I just wish I could somehow keep him young but I know we all grow up...he still will always be my baby! We had a fun party for him, he wanted a "Star Wars theme" a bunch of his friends came over for Pizza, a pinata, cake and ice cream, below are the pics I took!

What we did last nite

Spent the evening with some good friends having Chicken Enchiladas with Fresh chips & Salsa, played Rockband and the kids played Lego starwars. It was a fun nite!!!

The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police andexplained what she had done.
As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar: 'Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to you.''Scripture?' replied the burglar. 'She said she had an Ax and Two 38s!'

Just got back from a visit to Dallas to see Duanes Family. It was a nice visit and I took a ton of pictures which I will post once I catch some zzzz's....got up at 4:30a.m. to catch a 7a.m. flight so we are all tired!!! Thanks Tendai, and Anaclet for your wonderful hospitality!!!

Trei's Birthday party at school

They celebrated Trei's 5th Birthday at school this morning, we brought in the cake we made and he got a special Birthday hat and picked out a special toy from the "Birthday box". Afterwords we sang and had birthday cake. Duane, my Mom and Dad were able to come which made it real special, Trei was so happy we could all be there.

After Trei's Christmas Performance we headed home to make his cake for his party at school today. He wanted green frosting, so thanks to some good ol' food coloring we added to his cream cheese frosting we were good to go! Duane snapped a few pics of us decorating it. a couple of them show the kids' "Sugar high" from the cookies they had after the performance, heh!

Trei's Christmas Show

Trei's Pre-school class performed this Christmas for everyone, they sang 4 songs and was followed with a Cookie reception...He did much better this year, I think a whole year has really grown him up. Granted performing in front of a big crowd can be difficult at any age, but this year he really sang and wasn't shy. My parents were able to drive down from San Fran to attend which was real nice!Here are the few shots I took!
