Since the kids had Thanksgiving week off we decided to go to Disneyland for a few days. It was Desiree and Duanes 1st time and we had a great time. Trei was sick the first two days but on the final day he felt great and took part in the most amazing day of his little life....He was selected to train as a jedi and fight Darth Maul as part of the "Jedi Experience" at disneyland. He was so thrilled and surprised he was selected and it was a dream come true for him. We were able to go on quite a few of the rides, meet ALOT of characters and Desiree got autographs and pictures with the princesses and several others. Disneyland was decorated for Christmas and it was gorgeous. At 6p.m. Main street lights up along with the christmas tree and sleeping Beauty's castle while small specks of snow fall and the street is filled with christmas music. Everyone stopped in the street and just watched, it was beautiful! We also got to see the Christmas parade which Desiree REALLY enjoyed! So thankful we were able to have some family time and enjoy disneyland with the kids. Hope you all enjoy the pictures we took, these are only a few...I think I took over 300. yup!

I went down to San Diego for 2 days as the kids had the entire week of Thanksgiving off so we spent one day in Coronado scootering and enjoying the park followed by a visit to my sisters house that afternoon. Here are some pics we took.
Marco, Trei and I on the 3-eyed monster. I just think this photo is playful and fun!

Holiday Dinner
The Kids had their annual Holiday Dinner on November 19th and we were blessed to attend along with my parents. It was a total surprise to the kids and they were thrilled to have their Grandparents there. Trei had a speaking part in the play "An Island Christmas", he was the Binocular Elf and Desiree was one of the Reindeer. On the day of the show she got sick but still got up at the end to take a picture with her fellow reindeers. It was a fun evening and a joy to see him and the other students perform, he did so well and was so enthusiastic in his role and throughout each song. Thanks Mom and Dad for making the evening special by driving down to see us! Trei & Mikayla

Trei just finished his 3rd season of soccer and they were an undefeated team! He loves the sport SO Much and is disappointed that he won't be practicing twice a week with a game on Saturdays. Some of his team mates the past few years are friends from when he was in Pre-school so he is going to miss them alot when we move to Virginia next year! This Saturday they had the "end of the season" party which included pizza, Team # cupcakes and trophies! The coaches also went above and beyond and presented Trei with a keepsake signed by his team mates.
