Trei went to his Kindergarten Screening today, They asked him to cut a circle, write his name, count to 100 draw a picture of someone, identify shapes write from 1-10 and more. All of which was real easy for him, to put it in his words "My sister can do all that and she is only 3"...He passed and we are starting to fill out the paperwork. I Can't believe our little boy is going to be starting Kindergarten this Fall. I know I will miss him every morning...

Tonite we celebrated the "halfway mark" of our deployment!!! The guys surprised us by having us dress up in cocktail dresses and charter a bus to Fresno to eat at a lovely restaurant. There they had a private room set up for us and we had to find our seats by finding the small photo frame of our husbands with a recorded message for each of us. We saw movie clips of them talking to us and photos of the cruise so far. We played games and had a fun nite!!! I am happy we are at the half way point and hope the next half goes by smoothly and quickly....
I miss you honey!!!! Thanks for the fun nite!

So we are officially out of diapers, well not "We" but we has in our kids...I ran out of diapers 4 days ago and figured now is as good as any to start teaching Desiree to not wear diapers at nite..or rather teach me to get up not just once with Trei at nite but twice for her...so far 2 out of 4 nites she has been dry...still figuring out her schedule and still tired, Heh!!!

Took the kids to "Boingos" today to run off some energy and easter candy..heh actually they only ate one piece yesterday, anyways they had a blast we spent 2 hours there they jumped and climbed the rock wall. I was so impressed with both of them as it wasn't a "slanted" one it was straight up and they did it and scaled across it too, I snapped some pics with my phone since I left my camera at home.
Easter
We had a nice Easter, we spent the day outside as it was around 80 degrees, the kids rode bikes, ran through the sprinklers and had a picnic and Easter Egg hunt with my Aunt. She brought over some Easter Eggs with candy but also some of the coolest ones I have ever seen. Inside of the "egg" are two different color capsules and you put them in water and they turn into different shaped animals. The kids and I had so much fun watching them morphe into things. I thot it was fascinating and brilliant cause I hate all the candy they get and this was something they could do with their easter eggs right away. I took a bunch of pics of it as I haven't seen anything like it!

Today we had a low key day since the kids aren't 100% better yet, though MUCH better then the other nite, Thankfully Desiree didn't have a fever today but was still feeling weak from her high fever Friday nite! We spent the day reading books, playing "match", going on a wagon ride and painting with Desiree's new "Squeeze 'N Brush" paints she got for her birthday. Might I add these are fabulous paints, I am officially done with all others, I have never seen these before till she got them and they are just like markers so you hold them and squeeze a little when you want the paint to go down to the brush and then you paint...They are too cool and not as messy! Trei painted some Easter Eggs and Desiree painted in her new notebook...Both wanted to send their projects to Daddy but I had to explain that we can't send Daddy eggs even though they are cooked as it takes a few weeks for him to get our mail and he wouldn't be too happy if he got some foul smelling eggs...heh! I snapped a few pics of them painting today!

We had a small scare last nite, Desiree came down with a fever last nite B-4 bed and when I went to check on her she had 105.6F I checked it 3 times to make sure...So I called 911 and they showed up right away and re-took the temperature & it was 106F so they gave her two shots to bring the fever down and some medicine. She was delirious I believe as she was talking about Daddy and saying "2+2 is 4 and 0+1 is 0" and so on and not shy one bit with them...The Medics were great and stayed with us till her fever dropped down to 101F, they said they would stay so long as they didn't get another call or then they would have to take us back to the hospital...Thankfully her fever dropped and after throwing up all over all of us she looked up and said "I am all better Mommy"...ha! Anyways today she was doing better with a low grade fever so I am hoping and praying we won't have a repeat of last nite...

Today has been quite the day, the weather was freezing after a few days of 75 degrees and its been soooo windy blowing around all the Hanford/Lemoore crud so Trei has been having respiratory problems again, please pray for him. To top it off all thats going on in N.Korea and knowing that Duane and all the guys are right out there in the midst of it and we have no communication because of it has been nerve-racking to say the least. I have been praying for them & watching the news cause thats all we have got right now....

Since we already celebrated Desiree's birthday on Sunday today I spent the morning doing all the things she likes best while Trei was at Pre-school. We had her 3 year check up where she weighed in at 37 pounds and is 41 inches tall...WAYYY off the charts for height which didn't surprise me one bit when she is eye level with all Trei's 5 year old friends at school! We then went to the park together, fed the ducks went to Coldstone and got an ice cream to take home and spent the afternoon, reading books, playing "shopping" with her new toys, played "match" and her and Trei put on a show for me with their mike and guitar from Rockband...they sang their own songs it was too cute!!! I can't believe she is 3 years old!!! Not sure if this weekend was too eventful but Trei came down with a high fever tonite, so please say a prayer for him! Its odd cause the nite Desiree was born he was sick too...
