Duane arrives tonite yay!

For you ladies out there who flatiron your hair often like I do and when you don't, you experience the "frizz factor", I found the cure!!! Brazilian Blowout http://www.brazilianblowout.com/! My stylist in San Diego recommended it to me earlier on this year and as it was a busy one I didn't make it down there till last month. Anyways I decided to try it and LOVE IT!!! It leaves your hair silky, smooth and shiny. Best part there is no "down time" which is the case with most straighteners, and is actually good for you hair. There is also alot of imitations out there so don't be confused, but really, you should try it out, you will love it and it'll give your hair a break from the Blowdryer and irons!

7 Days to go....

Desiree is going to be playing soccer this year, she is so excited that she is old enough to play...Here are a few pics in her new soccer gear!

We spent two days in San Fran visiting Nana. We went out shopping, stopped by the incredible Ice cream store that serves ginormous portions, swam and had a nice time chatting and seeing each other! While out and about we saw this little building all on its own on the corner of the street. It was a bathroom! You had to pay to use it and it had a list of rules prior to using it. From what I could tell you put the money in and the door opens and then seals shut till your "time is up" and yes there is a time limit if you read the rules. It made me wonder what happens if for some reason the power goes out to this unit or it stops working and you are stuck inside...all that to say I'd watch someone else go first before I would ever try it out..but it made for a good laugh!

We are headed to San Fran to see Nana this weekend, should be fun!

After completing our 6 hour drive home followed by a trip to the grocery store to restock our fridge, the kids had lots of energy, probably from sitting for so long. So I turned on the pool lights and we swam last nite. They had so much fun and slept real well!!!Not the greatest pics but anyhew!

The Kids and I threw Amy a baby shower last nite. She is due Mid August with another little boy on the way! The kids were excited to go out and get yummy goodies as well as decorations for the party! Thanks ladies for coming and showering Amy with baby and "Mommy" gifts.Michael and Conner.

We just experienced a 5.4 earthquake here in San Diego. I had just started a workout when I heard a loud noise followed by my Mom and Dad's house shake. We went outside and thankfully it only lasted for a short while. It did however bring back memories of the big earthquake we went through years ago in Chile. Made me sick to my stomach for a few hours. It felt stronger then a 5.4. It knocked down some cups in the kitchen and a picture off the wall.

My sister Amy treated us to free tickets at the Wild Animal Park. We haven't been there since Trei was 2 so it was fun. Desiree loves animals so she enjoyed every second of it. It was a hot day so alot of the animals weren't in plain site so it was nice to take the trolley thru the park and see all the animals closer.
