Feeling much better thanks for all the prayers during my recovery! Still on soft foods but at least they go down without any pain and I can sleep at night!!!

While I have been sick Duane was able to come home for a week to help care for the kids and they loved their Daddy time! He took them on bike rides daily and swimming not to mention the other fun activities they did! One thing he did was teach Desiree how to ride her bike without training wheels, and she just took off fast!!! Ever since she has found "freedom" they have been going on hour long bike rides throughout the neighborhood with their camelpak water totes on their backs. Here are some pics from the 1st day she started riding.

I don't care what anyone says, getting your tonsils out is brutal! I haven't had this kind of persistent throbbing pain ever in my life. I think I have a rather high threshold for pain, having two kids naturally in military hospitals where the 1st one I had no drugs whatsoever....and several surgeries following that but this has been intense and I can't wait for the two week recovery to be over and go back to a pain free mouth, and eating food and drinking coffee! If you can say a prayer for me to get through this, it will be greatly appreciated!
P.s. Another myth, you can't eat endless amounts of ice cream-its too painful! (weep)

We took the kids to see CARS 2 at the theater last night and they thoroughly enjoyed it! I think this one is catered more to older children like Trei then the 1st one but still fun to see! For all you Moms looking for a children's movie to watch in the theater soon on July 15th there is a new Winnie the Pooh coming out! Enjoy!
