Duane, Danni and Kiddos: July 2005

24 hours

In 24 hours Duane will be home, I can't tell you how long we have waited for this day to come...7 loooonnngggg months!!! I have to say I have so many things going thru my head, I am excited, nervous, anxious but most of all HAPPY that he will be home!!! Trei and I fly into San Diego Tomorrow morning (EARLY) and Duane gets it tomorrow evening....CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
Thank you everyone for your prayers for him and us during these last 7 months, thanks to all those of you who have sent Duane care packages, letters and gifts while he has been on deployment it has meant alot to the both of us!!! A BIG THANKS to my parents for taking us in too for the last 7 months we appreciate it!!!!!!We are headed for Vacation for 2 weeks when he gets back to spend time together as a family so if you don't hear from us or see any posts thats why....

Yankee Games

The last two nites My Dad and I went to the Yankee/Rangers game here in Dallas, we scored AWESOME Seats, right behind home plate as you will see from the photos...We could see the players very well and I tried to take some photos of them along with the other 43,000 people that attended and since we were behind Home Plate they were all Backside Shots which I am sure the ladies won't mind (especially the Derek Jeter fans....ahemmm.....My dear friend Angelina...)
The First nite they opened with Owen Wilson Throwing the 1st pitch, he was here in Dallas promoting his New movie...It was a close game they were neck n' neck the whole time and then our dear YANKEES WON 11-10!!!! Last nite however no one scored till the 8th inning and then the Rangers won..BUT.....Tonite they play again and my prayers go out to the Yankees...They have to win for my sake, my Dad's sake and all the other Yankee fans out there....ha ha!!! I wanted to see Randy Johnson pitch but unfortunately he had pitched in the last 3 games against the RED SOX so he was taking a break...Weep!!!! Maybe tonite they will put him in...I HOPE!!! Hope you enjoy the photos I took, it was tough but I did what I could...As you will see our seats were AWESOME!!!!

Countdown

9 DAYS TO GO TILL DUANE GETS HOME....THE COUNTDOWN HAS STARTED I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am packing and getting ready to head back to San Diego, its amazing how much one accumlates over a period of a few months, wow, from toys to clothes, to knick knacks and junk...wow!!!! Its been a nice stay with my family, Trei has enjoyed playing with his cousins and of course Grandma and Grandpa too. He sure is gonna miss that!!! Thanks Mom, Dad, Darren and Claire for letting us stay with you these last few months we have had a fun stay and appreciate all you have done for us, the prayers, support, help with Trei and for putting up with us these last few months. Ha ha, I am sure it hasn't been easy. SO A BIG THANKS!!!!

Headed back home!!!

Great News Everyone, We are headed home July 23rd and so is Duane, he is flying home earlier then the rest of the crew as he is headed to "Aviation safety Officer" school in Pensacola August 9th so they let him come home earlier so he can spend some time with us before he takes off again. WE ARE SOOOOOOO EXCITED, its been 7 long months to say the least, I am anxious to see how Trei reacts when he sees Duane. We all get in the 23rd of July and then head up to Palm Springs the following day to relax and spend time together as a family. Should be LOTS of Fun!!!! I can't wait!

More Teeth

Yup, Trei got some more teeth, not without of course the usual drooling, fingers in the mouth for days and the sleepless nites, all this happend of course on our Trip to North Dakota and is still going on, but the happy news is that he got 3 more teeth, one tooth up top and two more on the bottom and it looks like he has even two more coming again on the bottom...Poor little dude, he seems to get his teeth not one or two at a time but 3 or 4 at a time...No pain no gain I guess...say a prayer for him its a tough time for the little man...Thanks!!!!
