Took Trei in for a follow up check up and the Doc said his lungs still don't sound well, she heard wheezing and perscribed a set of Steriods for him to take for 5 days...Please pray for him, its sad to see him go through this, all cause of the air quality in Hanford. He is such a little trooper!

Sleepover
Some friends of ours attended the yearly Hornet ball but since Duane is gone I figured I'd babysit for them and we turned it into a sleepover for the kids. Their 1st one in over a year. They spent the afternoon and evening playing Trains with the track I made for them, (they were impressed I was able to build it as Mikey put it). Had a pizza and watched Madagascar with their all time favorite song, "I like to Move it Move it", I don't know a kid who doesn't like that song, they made me replay it a dozen times. They were dancing all over the house, it was sooo funny, I took 2 video clips of it. Anyhoo afterwords they all crashed for the nite, all except for Kalea who I guess had taken a 4 hour nap earlier in the day so she was up till midnite which meant I was...heh! I woke up exhausted and with a kink in my neck from sleeping wrong, but they all seemed well rested and happy! I think it wore me out more then them, guess I am getting old! Here are the pics and movie clips I took. Enjoy!

My Brave boy!
Trei has been battling allergies all week and they started getting worse Thrusday, he started having difficulty breathing that nite and had a nasty sounding cough so I took him to the doc today. After listening to his chest she said it didn't sound very good and was happy I brought him in or like I thot...it could have turned into pnuemonia over the weekend. So they gave him 4 breathing treatments back to back with some meds in them that make you jittery she said. After that we headed down to Radiology for xrays of his chest and they were coaching him to stand still and one of the poses they had him do was with his hands above his head which he did all on his own but his hands were all jittery cause of the breathing meds. It was pretty funny, anyhoo they managed to get two pics of his lungs and thankfully he doesn't have pneumonia but she perscribed me an inhaler for him for the next few days to open and clear his lungs a bit along with Zyrtec for his allergies. He was sooooooooooooooooooooo brave though, he didn't cry, appear scared or anything, I am sooo proud of him and I know Daddy would have been too if he were here. Because he was so good I took him to get a new Lego star wars plane at Target, he was soooo excited and we spent a good part of the afternoon building it. I was pretty impressed that I was able to do it, they are pretty tricky I tell ya...this one wasn't that easy but I managed to do it and completing it he looked at me and said "Mommy I am so proud of you". ha ha! Here is a pic of him with his new Lego plane....
Yesterday was Trei's sharing day at school, he proudly brought in his Lego Airplanes that he made all by himself having followed the instructions. I was sooo impressed cause they say they are for 7-9 year olds and I have put a few together myself and its tricky. But he loves to build them and it keeps him busy! Anyways he showed them to his teachers and class mates and was so animated about it too, I wish I would have taken a video clip, I will next time! Here are the pics I snapped.

Well I decided its time to get rid of Desiree's paci, I don't know who its gonna be tougher on, her or me. She has had it since she was born along with two "teddy blankies" she calls "Shnuggies" and has slept thru the nite since day1. I figure if those shnuggies and paci help her and me get 8 hours of sleep a nite, well so be it and Thank God for them. But she is 2 1/2 and all good things must come to an end, so tonite is the 1st nite I explained to her that she is a big girl and showed her pictures of her favorite "princesses" and showed her how they dont have paci's, so we are gonna say goodbye to our paci's, so we will see how it goes..heh! I feel for her, cause she is so attached to the paci at nite, mostly a comfort thing I think, keeping the good ol' shnuggies tho.

Latest and greatest
So as you know I enjoy working out, its stress relief and gives me energy to get over the afternoon slump so I can keep up with my 2 and 4 year old..heh!
Anyhoo I have a done a boat load of different workouts over my life, plus I have an elliptical and Treadmill which I alternate between but does get boring so I am always looking for something new and challenging for me..anyhoo the latest and greatest for me at this point has been 2 videos from a series called P90X. Duane bought it awhile back and I just tried two out of the 12 dvds it has, the "Cardio X" and the "Kenpo" and WOW it kicked my butt, and made me sweat mucho!!! My heartrate was ellevated the entire time and was challenging for me, which is surprising as I have a hard time finding workouts that really "get me"... Still haven't tried the other ones, but if they are anything like his cardio routine then I am sure they are equally as tough! Anyhoo for those of you looking for a challenge you should try it out...

While watching the new "Thomas" with the kids for Movie nite, I hear the usual story line and songs...for those who have watched "Thomas" at all know their "Usual" simple songs...anyhooo, all of a sudden I hear a Boys band Rap sorta song and I am thinking to myself, "What are the kids watching now?" So I walk over to the living room and sure enough thats what it is, a remix of a Thomas song, and the kids are dancing to it. Yup, a "remix"...check it out, I laughed soooooooooooooo hard!!! After a Summer of daily swimming it was sorta blondish, brownish, "I-don't-know-whattish" color, and completly dried out.ewwww...Ironically I wasn't able to get an appt till the day after the wedding, heh! For the before pics you can see them in the "Wedding album" collage on my blog!

Our Skippers wife sent us this site http://hugahero.com so we could order keepsakes for our kiddos B-4 deployment. Its such a cool site it has a ton of different items you can personalize with photos and more, a great place to get gifts for kids whose parents deploy or are away from home for any reason. We are getting Desiree a "Daddy doll" before Duane leaves on deployment. Anyways thot I would post the site in case anyone else is looking for something similar...
